More than a physical release Principles of Geometry wanted to materialize the musical lexicon of ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ into an object. This carefully conceptualized and designed artefact by legendary Ian Anderson might be the most advanced vinyl piece released by Tigersushi Records so far.
A triple vinyl of the 26 tracks with a very playful not playable etching on the last side .

"This is ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ.

This album is a construct on the language which composes, and continues to compose, our musical lexicon. 26 letters represented by 26 titles creating a sonic grammar which has been our common thread through 5 albums now.

Signs, symbols and figures are our founding influences. This is where this alphabet finds its Alpha.

ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ is an evocation, almost an incantation, of influences that have shaped our musical and shared lexicon. A raw material, without which we would not have had the chance to meet and experience this twinning. This is also a song of the machine, and of the machines, an extension of the capacities of instruments, originating in the middle of the 90’s, when electronic music emerged, and should be listened to while listening to your inner self.

It is, for the two of us, the song of printed circuits, electronic dreams cradled by IDM (Intelligent dance music), which finds its expression in the compilations Artificial Intelligence of Warp Records, Braindance of Rephlex, and the abstractions of Skam and Planet Mu, of dream music under the influence, electronica in all its forms, the abstract analogue of the soundtracks of our childhood. A founding anthology in our work, but one which we have never addressed to this level and which, therefore, became our starting point.

We have always been seduced by the idea that music is a language, which contrary to the verb, is universal. Music doesn’t require the same resources: it evokes images, provokes emotion, no translation required.

It is for us a universal message, a thought without discord, without opposition, a sharing that helps us leave our own doom. A communion to extract us from the hysteria. Strangely, in its universality, its perception, its abstract interpretation, emotion, depends on the sensitivity and receptivity of each and every one of us.

An interpretation for infinite interpretations. It is a very personal and spontaneous album. A series of organic and synthetic landscapes. ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ is not the symbol of one story as with our previous albums, but more a symbol of our common history, and certainly of those to come.

It was my first time playing in a club, and wow—what an incredible feeling that was! I couldn’t believe how much I enjoyed it. Seeing the smiling faces, the wild dance moves, the cheering, and feeling the energy of the crowd gave me goosebumps over and over. Creating a musical journey, with the crowd, unique to that moment, is just magical. I can't wait to do it again :)

Nach 3 Tagen Verarbeitung befinden wir uns noch immer auf Wolke 7 gefüllt mit Flashbacks und absoluten Glücksgefühlen, finden aber so langsam wieder Worte, um das letzte Wochenende zu beschreiben. 

Abgesehen von dem Dielenboden in unserer Wohnung - der deutlich weniger kaugummiverklebt ist - haben wir auf keinen anderen Holzbrettern so viele Emotionen erlebt wie im Hopper. Insofern war es für uns eine absolute Herzensangelegenheit, ein Mal dort Reiseleiter zu spielen, um etwas von dem zurückzugeben, was wir dort über Jahre erlebt haben. Ein Mal die eigene Energie mitgeben…

Als die überraschende Anfrage von Mona kam, genau an diesem Ort zu unserer liebsten Zeit - Sonntag von 8-11 Uhr morgens - zu spielen, saß der Schock im positiven Sinne groß. Dann noch auf der Enorm in Form….
Wir waren gerade dabei, erstmal von bestimmen Dingen Abschied zu nehmen, um uns ganz auf einen neuen, abenteuerlichen Zustand einzustellen 🤰🏼 erwiesen uns aber als sehr flexibel 😼 und widmeten uns dankend sowie ausgiebig der Setvorbereitung. 

Die Euphorie auf den Sonntagmorgen wurde am Vorabend durch das Artist Dinner mit tollen Menschen auf der Terrasse vom FAME so weit gesteigert, dass wir in der Nacht kein Auge zu machen konnten. Insofern konnten wir unsere Euphorie und positive Energie kurz vor Beginn des Sets leider nicht wie gewünscht abrufen. Das änderte sich aber schlagartig im Hopper. Von der ersten Sekunde an, konnten wir genießen. Die Freude und die Energie wurden jedes Mal größer, wenn wir einen Blick auf die Uhr und das Publikum warfen. Niemals hatten wir bis zum Schluss mit einem so vollen Hopper gerechnet. Wir fragten uns eher vorab, ob wir den ein anderen Track spielen würden, weil der auf einem leeren Hopper ggf. eher verloren wirkt. Gleichzeitig hatten wir aber unsere Hopper-Tracks zum Teil über Jahre gesammelt und wollten ihnen ihren Raum geben. 

Dass die Stimmung und die Energie an dem Morgen schließlich so unvergesslich wurden, lag letztlich an all den Leuten auf dem Floor. Ihr habt unseren Traum in der Realität noch getoppt. Wir danken euch so sehr, dass wir euch auf unser morgendliches Intervalltraining mitnehmen durften. Insofern galten die finalen Freudentränen in erster Linie euch und eurer Resonanz ❤️🙏🏼🥹

Abschließend an dieser Stelle nochmal riesiges Dankeschön an Mona und Marco aka Stan Starry. Für euch als Menschen, euer Vertrauen in uns und für die Organisation dieser etablierten Wahnsinnsparty mit jeder Menge Liebe zum Detail und Vitamin B. 
Ihr habt es mal wieder geschafft, den Kater von seiner aller besten Seite zu zeigen.

Ein Morgen im Hopper | Enorm in Form @ Kater | 13.04.2025

Dear Sisyphos, what a blast! Even with that sunny weather and the opening of the Strand, I’m so happy so many of you danced with me this Easter Sunday morning. When @raeubermaedchen asked if I’d play during the last days of my five-week vacation, I wasn’t quite in the mood yet—I had planned to take April and May to simplify and rebuild my bloated setup. But hey, I’m bad at saying no.
So I grabbed my old setup (one last time?), mixed in some new sketches and golden oldies, and put together this rough little 90-minute set. Some parts were messy, a few transitions off, basslines a bit loose—but the energy was there, and we had fun.
Thanks to @raeubermaedchen for making things happen, @lask_aa for vocal and emotional backup, and all of you who danced with me—friends and strangers alike.
