My "Officially Semi-Unofficial" remix of The House Crew - Keep The Fire Burning, for a competition to win a dubplate. Done in the 1994 breakbeat hardcore style, with all the pianos, stabs, beats & breaks.

This isn't the "full" version, it has some dips and edits and whatnot, not that anyone is likely to pirate it or anything but I can't give this away I'm afraid.

I disqualified myself from actually entering the competition but I did have a go at a remix - it would have been a shame not to let anyone hear it. And hear it in all it's glory you can - on my very own show at www.kniteforceradio.com or twitch.tv/kniteforcetv on Friday night from 8pm!

Regulars will know Vash from smashing out the techno early doors at our nights but this time he blasts off with a dark sci-fi electro workout overshadowed by menacing rumbles, clanging breakbeats and squelching acid riffs. “I wanted to do something a bit different for the mix series and really enjoyed stepping out of my comfort zone for this one but that’s the great vibe with Tarantism, they really give you free reign to rinse out whatever you’re digging, as long as it bangs obviously!”. This lost recording has been found!  Old school gabber and hardcore vinyl set, played live at a rave called Tickle in San Francisco, the late 90's (1998?)

If you heard GabberGirl play between 97 & 98, this set will bring back great memories.  This is a very typical late 90's set for GabberGirl-- 
back-to-back party bangers!  Relentless!  

Once this set was found and mastered, it was played on RTDF Rave Radio for the 2023 Tribute to Nicky Fingers, our fallen hardcore comrade who was in the band Disciples of Annihilation, an excellent hardcore DJ, and one of the innovators of the NYC rave scene.
