Following the success of their debut EP on Lunatick Records earlier this year, South London jazz/hip-hop quartet Sumochief have once again teamed up with the UK based imprint to present a series of remixes from the acclaimed Sumobeats EP. 

First to present his unique take on the EP's opening track "1 Of 1" is York based producer Handbook. After a string of incredible releases, whether it's his solo instrumental work or working with talented emcees across the globe, Handbook has amassed a strong following over the last few years, establishing himself as one of the biggest names in the UK beat-scene.

The full EP is due to be released through Lunatick Records on the 28th of October 2014 with artwork from the talented Kristian Berge.

'Kill Your Masters' comes from the third joint EP between Supreme Sol and Handbook, following on from 'Higher Manifestation' and 'An Obscure Narrative'. These are two artists who truly have a connection and understand what each individual brings into the mix. Handbook provides his well known brand of charismatic production for Sol to express himself over, using his trademark delivery that really catches the listeners attention and imagination. 

Supreme Sol: "Last year was pretty rough for me, especially when it came to my relationships with women. I was down about how my music would get looked over, my city (St Louis) moved to the number 1 most dangerous city in the US once again, and sometimes I'd feel pretty hopeless at times because of it. Throughout Impetus I'm sharing all of those experiences from a place of frustration, acceptance, determination, and organic growth."

California-born Tara Priya started off singing hooks on rap demos in LA (for the likes of Kendrick Lamar & Jay Rock) but quickly signed to P-VINE Records in Japan for release of her first two albums (2012, 2014), both of which featured Billboard charting singles. Tara soon moved to London to create her own blend of soul, pop & '90s hip-hop. Influenced by the classics - J. Dilla, Billie Holiday, Ennio Morricone and heartbreak - Tara's 2015 EP got her press and radio love and a whole lotta closure. The Indian-Persian songwriter is currently drinking litres of excellent coffee and writing music for other dope humans, primarily in London.
