Es uno de los fundadores de Matriz, promotora con base en Granada que acaba de cumplir cinco años y por lo que han pasado artistas de gran nivel internacional. En Barcelona es parte del joven proyecto Volta Club, que dará mucho que hablar.

Set the Mood welcomes Alfonso Hernando (a.k.a. Tare), a devoted selector whose perspective on the perfect opening set is as thoughtful as his music. For Alfonso, a warm-up is not just about playing slower tracks; it's about shaping a sonic environment, gradually building tension, and allowing the night to find its natural rhythm. In this set, he carefully selected dub techno records that embody this ethos: deep, atmospheric sounds that suit both a dance floor slowly waking up and a serene sunset. This recording captures Moosdohmen’s live modular set at the first MORPH event, held on June 27, 2025, at OT301 in Amsterdam.

He opened the night with a slow, dub-influenced performance built entirely on his modular system. Deep bass, spacey textures and steady rhythms set the mood as people started arriving and the room slowly filled up.

Blending ambient textures with broken beats and low-tempo techno, she delivered a deep and introspective opening that unfolded slowly and deliberately. The set began with an extended ambient passage, gradually building into a raw, percussive journey marked by heavy kicks and fragmented rhythms.

Charlton delivered a fully improvised performance using his modular system and a Roland TR-505. Harsh distortion, broken rhythms and high-impact energy defined the set — rooted in the raw, uncompromising techno tradition he’s been shaping for years.

Every sound was built live on the spot: unpredictable, powerful, and completely in the moment.
