1 Out Of My System

This spring, February and March 2018, Danish rockband Blended Brew is making their way through the European territory supporting Marco Mendoza and his band. Blended Brew will warm up the audience with an intense show filled with great rock songs. 16 shows in total across Denmark, Germany, The Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia.

In connection with the tour, Blended Brew are releasing a brand new single "Wrong Hand" acompanied with a music video. "Wrong Hand" was recorded and mixed by Jacob Bredahl (Sea, Rising, Hatesphere). "Wrong Hand" is a melting pot of energetic hard rock which should appeal to fans of Rival Sons and The Temperance Movement added with a bit of classic Zeppelin!

Blended Brew is currently considered one of the most succesful Danish rock bands, and have already gained International exposure, having toured the US four times and China three times over the past three years. Upon returning a second time to China in 2013, Blended Brew was on their first headliner tour playing 14 concerts in 9 different cities performing for thousands of excited Chinese fans. 
 
Blended Brew are currently working on their follow up album, expected to be released in late 2018.

Second single "Penance" from the upcoming comeback album "Blasphemy Awakes" from Scandinavian death metal band Thorium.

MHA, vokills in Thorium, says about "Penance" The one sample on our new album that might provoke most people in Denmark is the one in "Penance" from Danish madman/genius Mogens Glistrup. In the 70s this lawyer and later politician found a way around the Danish system to paying zero tax for many years and of course ended up in jail. Later he formed one of most popular political parties in Denmark, Fremskridtspartiet, with focus on Danish values. Some might call him far right oriented, and he had some very dominant opinions on the subject. In the late 90s he did an interview on National television where he stated all muslims coming to Western European countries, were coming here to take the Western values away from us and conquer our countries and would see riots and failed integration happen 20 years later. He is quoting things from the Koran to underline. Now 20 years later, it’s up to your own point of view if he was right or not. Under all circumstances it is a hot potato to talk about, especially in music and extreme metal in these days, where bands like Marduk and Taake are accused of being Nazies. I look forward seeing the reactions on the song “Penance” and the music video we made. Food for thoughts. I am not right oriented myself, and as a self employed entrepreneur in the entertainment business, it is hard sometimes to decide which political party you want to support. The ones who support business men or the ones who support culture".

Musically "Penance" is raw, fast old school death metal.

About the new album "Blasphemy Awakes" - out 1st of June
It wasn’t in the cards it had to take 10 years for Thorium to release the follow-up album to 2008’s highly acclaimed “Feral Creation”. MHA says “We were old friends in Thorium and people started getting other priorities in other bands, so all of a sudden it was only myself caring about Thorium. Who can blaim KB for choosing to join Volbeat? However, I wanted to continue with Thorium. Thorium is in my DNA now and something I see I will be doing for the rest of my life. I just needed to find the right recipe, which I believe I have now”. 
 
After hooking up with old pal Kræn Meier (Sacrificial) things started to move fast and having another old friend JP Storm (ex. Dominus) come on board, the process went even smoother. The song writing process for “Blasphemy Awakes” was in full swing and with song writing help from Swedish friends Rogga Johansson and Jonas Lindblood, the process of finalizing the album went fast. Only thing missing now was the perfect drummer – and when Kræn came up with Perra Karlsson, an old friend of both MHA and Kræn, the line-up was complete.
