//Was bedeutet deine Musik für dich?//
Musik hat für mich viel mit Stimmung und Gefühlen zu tun. Ich wähle Tracks danach aus, welche Emotionen sie in mir wecken und weniger nach dem Genre, das darf gern innerhalb eines Sets variieren. Am wertvollsten sind die Momente, wo (meine) Musik den Menschen ein Lächeln auf die Lippen zaubert und sie in Erinnerungen an alte Zeiten schwelgen lässt.

//Woher nimmst du deine Inspiration?//
Momentan viel aus meiner Teenie-Zeit und der damaligen Popkultur. Es werden gerade unglaublich viele und geile Trance/Eurodance Edits von 2000er Ikonen wie Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake und co. released! Diese Musik löst bei mir so viel Euphorie und Nostalgie aus, die ich in meinen Sets versuche zu vermitteln.

//Was muss sich deiner Meinung nach an der Szene ändern?//
Eigentlich bin ich ganz happy mit den aktuellen Entwicklungen. Diverse line-ups werden immer wichtiger und neue Musikrichtungen populärer. Aber natürlich ist da noch viel Luft nach oben! Und wir sollten uns alle weniger ernst nehmen, es darf auch mal trashig sein ;)

Official Soundcloud account of the TARMAC Festival

The TARMAC Festival took place for the first time in September 2020 at the Allstedt airfield and is by now organized and hosted by the TARMAC e.V. The non-profit association is the official framework to realize common ideas and visions of small art and music collectives from Saxony-Anhalt, Saxony, Berlin, Brandenburg and Thuringia. Our common goal is to create spaces where people can express themselves and feel comfortable and where escapism is possible, whilst taking into account the challenges of the present.
