Guitar Pro is first and foremost a software designed to edit tablature for guitar, bass, and other fretted instruments from 4 to 8 strings.

Its great ease of use and the success of its specific file format have made it a software used by guitarists worldwide.

It now includes editing support for many other instruments like the piano or the drums, a realistic audio engine, and interactive tools to support every musician's practice.

We're an alternative progressive metal band currently based in edinburgh. Manamére came about as some collabs between Neoteric Candor and I (Maxnni) and developed into an entirely new project. 

We like to try and give a varied sound to our music and take influences from bands such as opeth, cynic, haken, dream theater, periphery and on a wider context some lesser known bands. 

As for gear, we currently program all synth and drum tracks on guitar pro, when it comes to recording we run on a Pod ux1 and ux2 through Sonar LE. 

Being relatively inexperienced with recording we'd love any feedback or tips on how to improve it once we begin. We'd also greatly welcome and compliments/criticism of composistion as we endeavor to keep our sound original but also appealing.
