Chicago rapper Tae Jetz is certainly from that school of hard knocks. Born as Dionte Harris, he grew up On the West Side of Chicago (Pulaski & Wilcox). The oldest of three children, Tae Jetz saw a bit of everything growing up, witnessing all kinds of violence and drug use. In spite of his rough upbringing, Tae still has a deep love for his city and would never trade Chicago for anything. He is looking to show that there is more to Chicago than the nickname “Chiraq” and the stereotypes of murder.
