Though its DNA touches on classic soul, rock, disco, and acid house, London-based producer and DJ Marcus Marr makes music for today. Marr’s work - released through DFA Records, Detail and New Finger Records - has been championed by Annie Mac, BBC Radio One, Pitchfork, SPIN, Clash Magazine and The Fader.

A regular at Berlin’s famed nightclub Berghain/Panorama Bar since 2014, Marcus Marr recently released the Familiar Five EP and performed a string of co-headline dates in North America with The Juan Maclean. He has previously appeared with the likes of Hot Chip, Floating Points, The Black Madonna and Optimo, and has performed at the highly-regarded MoMa PS1 Warm Up series, Day For Night Festival, and Art Basel Miami. Marcus has also contributed mixes to Beats in Space and Boiler Room

November 2011 saw the birth of a new club to Melbourne’s nightlife.  Christened Poof Doof it promised nothing but pure, unadulterated, body reverberating doof to all who attended, week after week.  

It opens its doors to any disco lover with an abandoned desire to dance.  

It is a destination to get lost, or be found, depending on your heart’s desire.  

It’s a place where upon podiums, and amidst smoke machines, time is irrelevant, worries are forgotten and friendships are forged through the common language of dance.  

With a door policy that specifies “strictly no photos” – memories are imprinted only in the minds of those present – where faces are lit by the flicker of a strobe light, not a flash, and where comfort can be found in knowing that nothing untoward awaits you online the next day.  

Simply put, what happens at the disco, stays at the disco.

We’re happily Melbourne’s favourite LGBTQI+ rave.  With raves opening across Australia and the planet in months and years to come.

Argonaut is a Melbourne dance floor dynamo igniting both the queer and mainstream music scene with his brand of high-energy vocal charged dance music. A true dance floor chameleon, Argonaut's deep knowledge of music spans disco and house and tech to electro clash, pop and Hi-NRG; this keeps audiences energetic as he curates the greatest night on the dance floor you've ever had!

An ARIA Club Chart DJ holding current residencies at iconic queer venues POOF DOOF and Sircuit, he's a staple at LGBTQI+ events nationwide and has graced stages at major festivals including Splendour In The Grass, Pitch Music & Arts and Beyond The Valley. His most recent career highlight headlining the forecourt stage at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Party playing to over 5000 party goers in February 2023

As a producer, Argonaut has built a career on reworking pop hits into club-ready cuts for his dance floors, providing unique and signature Argonaut moments that have set his sound apart. His unofficial bootlegs for artists like Dua Lipa, Scissor Sisters, Kim Petras - and of course Kylie - have been streamed over 500,000 times and played far and wide by queer DJ peers locally and across the pond. His debut release “Fame” was released in June 2022 on Extrovert Records, under the iconic Australian dance label Vicious Recordings.

Argonaut is also the musical face and co-producer of the 'Bar Kylie' dance event which tours nationally which has lead to residencies at Arts Centre Melbourne and Geelong Arts Centre during their Kylie Minogue fashion exhibits. Faced with the COVID lockdowns in 2020 Argonaut quickly took his live shows and that of Bar Kylie to an online arena reaching audiences across the globe, clocking in over 500,000 views on Facebook and Twitch (and counting!) since March 2020.

Whenever Argonaut’s on the decks it's a total vibe - whether at the club, at a festival, in a bar or being streamed at home – his sets are full of joy giving everyone freedom to dance and express their true self on the dance floor.

Juanchi Parodi is an Uruguayan artist, DJ and producer. His passion for music was present always, it was while discovering the club scene and festivals that he found his interest in electronic music and the DJ profession.
 In 2021, he acquired his first dj equipment and began
practice self-taught. Later he decided to study academically and took his first professionals steps.

He currently lives in Argentina, has performed in Uruguay, Argentina, Chile and Paraguay in the main electronic music venues like Studio Crobar, Niceto, Moscow, Amerika, as well as theaters, radios podcasts and fashion shows from Spain and Colombia.
