Wiege | ALIEN STAGE (String Special Soundtrack)

Beautiful and evocative, "Behold The Virgin Approaching" was written for chorus and later transcribed for piano trio.  It is part of a  larger work entitled Duan Nollaig, a collection of five carols for SATB chorus and piano.

Tatiana Svetlova is an artist on a mission. Born in Riga, Latvia, Tatiana now divides time between London and the South of France.

Her mission is to support the contemporary music makers and bring music to the school children .

Tatiana composes music and poetry and her debut album - Poetic Dialogues - does just that. The album features 12 reflective pieces on composers of the past and each piece is dedicated to someone meaningful in her life. Tatiana has created two versions of this work - one with music only and a podcast and the other one where she builds a narrative surrounding these pieces and reads out one of her poems.

Tatiana runs Mosaic Seasons, which is a festival in the South of France, where each programme features works by living composers alongside the established and loved repertoire.

Together with Edna Stern, Tatiana has created a kids show “The Carnival Party”, which is a 35 minute classical music show based on Schumann’s Carnival. The premiere took place on 14 October 2023 in Monaco.  The album was recorded by Edna Stern and Evelyne Berezovky.
