My take on one of my favorite tunes of the year, Tale Of Us & Ovend - Red Sky. Not mixed and mastered properly, but I wanted to get it up for some feedback.

JOOF stalwart Tim Penner returns with this mesmerizing single 'Oceans Between', cut from his fine Slideway's sound, these two tracks are divinely devout to the original sound of Trance in a modern, state-of-the-art fashion. Glory surrounds Oceans Between; a track that makes a tech-like entree, but gradually becomes immersed in the most delicate of atmospheres. An acidic arpeggio leads at the forefront of this tune, adding not only energy, but also a splash of hypnotic vitality to his wondrous sound. 

On the flipside, we have one of the most sublime vocal tracks to be ever released on JOOF Recordings. When it comes to vocal tracks, we're picky eaters at JOOF - which is a fierce testament to just how good 'Down Again' is.

Baset, a young producer from Egypt, presents “Lustmolch”, his first EP on Inner Symphony. It’s a 3-track EP that delivers on all its promises – it’s intense, compelling, detailed, and has an air of mystery that invites multiple listens. 

The title track and opener, “Lustmolch”, immediately establishes a melancholy, determined tone. It places the EP in the space between Ethereal and more traditional techno, pairing a powerful bass rhythm with a trance-like melody. Tal Fussman’s remix of the track follows, where it provides a contrast to the simplicity of the original. He introduces a range of subtle variations that utilize the entire soundscape, with details that reveal themselves with each listen. The EP ends with the final track, Höllisch, which again takes us forward to a place of higher intensity. Focused on layers of dynamic bass, the track gradually introduces higher layers, before a finale that overwhelms and then pulls back with masterful control.

The “Lustmolch” EP is a solid release, providing 3 different yet recognizably consistent tracks. While it stays within the boundaries its genre, it shows that there is a lot more to come from Baset as they grow as a producer.

Debatl and Eigost are words that emerged from producing two tracks, where I wanted to capture a mixture between anxiety, incercia and acceptance.
Fortunately there was already a word to describe my third track, Prayer.

STRND Radio #009 - Guest Mix: Cosmic Minds

With the colder seasons ahead, Infinite Depth is up to its 21th EP. The originals of this EP are provided by the talented Italian Aree. The title track is called ‘Domino’, which forms the fundament of this collection of tracks. To this collection the Dutch Rowdy added his characteristic sound by creating a remix of the third track of the EP.

As mentioned before the title track ‘Domino’ forms the fundament of the EP. This fundament you can hear in the form the icy synth hovering around the kick, which provokes a mysterious feeling. 
Overall the track is stripped, but all elements are firmly present and forming an interesting composition. A composition to build on.

One of these extensions on this base is the second track, called ‘Radial Rays’. The track is a spectacle of dark elements appearing and disappearing out of nothing. Through these elements a continuous spirit is flowing, which drags you through the track. The arrangement is kept restrained, but compelling at the same time and carries on the unique feeling of this EP.

This brings us to ‘Concentric Circles’, the third track of the EP. It will bring you in a dreamy state of mind, right at the center of two circulating synths. Throughout the track, these synths are surrounding you more and more, like two concentric circles.

In his remix, Rowdy managed to maintain this dreamy atmosphere, while providing it with his characteristic unyielding lower part. The rock solid kick in combination with the classical influences and raw distinctive elements are forming a great final to this constantly expanding EP.
