Madtech welcome Ray Mono, Kreutziger, Devv and Azteca to the label in late May to mark the latest in their self-titled Various Artist series.

A staple name for many within the industry, Madtech Record’s evolution since its formation back in 2012 as a sister label to the legendary Madhouse has seen the label welcome a host of top tier names to its catalogue whilst also helping to establish a number of those artists at the beginning of their careers. Having recently welcomed Cologne native DJOKO to deliver his impressive ‘Alpha Centauri’ EP in March, the Madtech Records camp look to keep things moving here with fresh new V/A installment in their self-titled series as they reveal fresh cuts from four of the genres most exciting up-and-coming talents.

Liverpool based artist Ray Mono kicks things of with the snaking and shuffling ‘Dissonance Theory’ as loose, rolling polyrhythms work alongside a warm bassline, before handing over to Amsterdam duo Kreutziger who employ dubby chords, punchy kicks and crisp hats throughout ‘After Midnight’. Next, Canadian talent Devv’s ‘What’s So Different’ takes the energy up a notch, fusing skipping percussion beneath resonant chord and pad swells, before handing over to Romanian DJ / producer Azteca as he closes out the package with a restrained, smooth blend of bumping sub-bass and well worked drum arrangements.

Okain is a master of house music , the universally respected french artist is the up next on Ben Rau's META Imprint under his brand new alias House of Kain.
The A-side Throwback is a rolling house track with a rumbling mpc groove that references the sounds of late 90's tech house updated for today's dancefloors , the B-side Time Factor rounds up the package perfectly with a glitchy dubbier feel  
META continues its  run of churning out high quality dancefloor weapons with House of Kain's debut release.

Expanding our collection, we're back with London based producer DeMarzo, who makes his debut on the label. "Engine" kicks off the mark with some densely packed energy, while "My Pad" puts forward a more steady atmospheric vibe. Title track "Paragon" continues the solid motions with our own Chris Stussy pushing a deeper touch on the remix to make this package complete.

Next up on the Politics Of Dancing collaborative label is Okain & Rowlanz, going up against Paris' finest for a thrill ride through the mean streets of minimal tech house. The A side track is crackling with electric energy - the beat is bright and forthright, the synths limber and expressive, with an oh-so tasteful dubbiness to them. The vibe is more noticeably heads down on the flip, as the space opens out and the sound palette goes more minimal to make room for a rubbery acid bassline. Both tracks have specific portions of the night in mind, but also sport flexibility in their make up that should see them gel with all kinds of classy club music.
