This track is the third single from my final pony album, "This Equestrian Moment", and had been in production for quite a long time! After a little over a year of production, this track feels like a culmination of everything I've dealt with over the past 12 months of my life. Throughout my private silence, my public outbursts, and my personal life, I've been cultivating my musical talents so that you all would hear nothing but the best I can make. It's truly a good feeling knowing that so many of you all continue to support me and my work as an artist, and I hope that I have successfully woven this into the lyrics I've written for this track, sung by the amazing Gabriel "Blackgryph0n" Brown. This song is about wanting to be the best and doing what it takes to get there, a sentiment echoed throughout humanity but sometimes simultaneously looked down upon as arrogance. I felt that Gabe was the perfect guy to work with for this because of his awesome talent and voice, as well as his experiences with similar ideals. Hello everyone! This week I sang It’s Tough To Be A God from Road To El Dorado with the lovely Elise Lovelock!

I love this song and I had such a hard time believing that there were so few covers of it! I needed to change that. It took a bit of time (and more effort than I expected) but it was worth it! This cover knocks my socks off everytime I listen to it. I think it’s fair to say it has taken the top spot as my personal favorite.

Elsie is such a powerhouse!  She sings, she acts, and she was kind enough to agree to a duet with lil old me! In truth, I’ve been gassing myself up for years to approach her for a duet but I’m SO glad I finally did it. I could not have made such a kick-butt rendition without her lovely voice. Thank you so much for joining me! 

Another big thank you to Ryan as well! His instrumentals are always amazing and always make my life a million times easier (and he cranks them out super fast which is ?????? but very much appreciated because my work schedule is a disaster).
