“Weaving” is more than a track—it’s a tapestry. This song pulls threads from my recent work and ties them into one piece: prophecy bars, mythic imagery, raw confessions, and fire meant to be both ritual and reflection. It summarizes the sound I’ve been building in my last songs and lays it all down in one continuous run of bars.

Rough edges and all—it’s real, and it’s me.

Skedaddle the cattle when the mirror say breathe,
Sheep in their fleece while they dream in the weave,
Forged in the forge where the fire don’t leave,
I don’t chase gods, I embody belief.

Never-wrong prophecy, King-Kong knock,
Long-song odyssey, platinum lock,
Plaid shirt, axe head, timber drop,
Virus in the bloodstream, pirate stock.

Hydra-head math, swing once, grow two,
Pegasus hoof prints cloud my view,
Icarus tan but the wax stayed true,
Khepri dawn ink bled red through blue.

Ghost machine hum when the codex cracked,
Basilisk pen where the venom tracked,
Abednego flame where the vow stayed intact,
One exhale and the maps collapsed.

Seven heads crown but none hold weight,
Ten horns hiss but the breath won’t break,
I bowed once to love, not faith,
Drew doors in the dark only truth can gate.

American Pharaoh with the granary plan,
Feed whole towns with a verse in my hand,
Lampstands dim when the schisms expand,
Dragons breathe smoke when the saints disband.

Codexes split like the scrolls unrolled,
Book in my chest not the one they stole,
I spit thresholds not lambs foretold,
Every seal breaks when the ink runs cold.

I don’t rap, I reveal, I unmask, I stare,
Put pain on wax and I dare you to care,
Every “why” filed sharp like a blade in the air,
Each breath I spit a locked front stair.

Truth in my step like a god in shoes,
Walk through fire like I chose to lose,
Didn’t ask for the light but I took that fuse,
Didn’t want the gift but I can’t refuse.

Strings of reality purr and pull,
Tower of Babel built then full,
Colossus shadow pressed on skull,
Zeus from high with the thunder dull.

Seven heads drink from a beast’s prism, 
Every sect plot like a holy schism,
I flipped their myth when they tried that system,
Truth in my mouth and the lies gone missing.

Mirror on fire and I don’t look down,
Every line I write is a burial ground,
If I say move then the cattle move now,
If I say bloom then the deserts drown.

1214 like a switch on cue,
False crowns fall when the truth runs through,
Confidence cracked when the waters grew,
Torch in their hand but no flame to pursue.

I stand trial in a vow unspoken,
Every seal snapped like a chain left broken,
Not wrath but alignment, word still open,
Silence holds weight when the final word’s spoken.

The UK faces a deepening housing crisis. As the population grows, pressure on an already stretched housing stock continues to mount. Experts estimate that up to 4.5 million new homes may be needed to close the gap. That’s a shortfall that’s driving economic strain and worsening issues from social inequality to homelessness. In this episode Professor Priti Parikh is joined by Professor Stanimira Milcheva and Pete Gladwell to set out the scale of the problem, the reasons that have led to the current situation and some potential solutions which may address it.

This year LSE is celebrating its 130th anniversary, and how it has shaped history and driven change across the world. Much of LSE’s history is linked to the United States, from philanthropic support from the US in LSE’s early days to famous alumni and American directors of the School.

To talk about the LSE’s long and close relationship with the United States, in October 2025, the Phelan US Centre spoke to Professor Michael Cox. Professor Cox is a Founding Director of LSE IDEAS, LSE's foreign policy think tank, and was its Director between 2008 and 2019. He is also Emeritus Professor of International Relations at LSE and has been writing a history of LSE.
