I've been playing a lot of Final Fantasy lately but I wanted to cover music from one of Square's less popular games. 

Threads of Fate(or Dewprism if you're in Japan) is an Action RPG where you play as two characters. Rue, a shapeshifter, and Mint, a magic user. It was made by Squaresoft and released on the PlayStation in 1999.

I probably played the demo for this game about a thousand times before I went and actually bought it. Really loved the art style and the music had a lot of atmosphere.

Unfortunately, this title came out right before Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy VIII were released. So, most people ended up buying those instead.

Junya Nakano scored the original game and I believe it hold up pretty well. I highly advise anyone who enjoys 90's Square games to go and play this right now.

Threads of Fate (Dewprism デュープリズム) Orchestral Medley

Back at it again with another cover. This time from my favorite(only?) video game quadrilogy. 

The piece is based off the 2 tracks on the OST - Aura's Theme and Ending. Threw in a little bit from .hack//G.U. for the extra nostalgia trip.

I played these games quite a bit and made sure to always import my saves across. Never managed to get ahold of Quarantine but we all know why that's the case.

I have probably spent way too much time in Bozja at this point. The quest line is so good but I was a bit sad there wasn't more original music for the final assault. It's not main game content so it was to be expected.

So, I went and made it myself. I combined the melodies from Gangos/Bozja with a few of the FFXII motifs and the original Torn from the Heavens track.

Decided to spice this cover up by adding in the Canticle theme since it's so closely associated with two of our closest Sharlayan allies, Alphinaud and red Alphinaud.

Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions was probably the game that really got me into the FF series. I still keep my PlayStation Vita around specifically so I can play this a couple times a year.
