The first multi track recording I've made in over 10 years.

I wrote this song this morning about a dream I have on occasion, and not wanting to wake up from it.

i hit the snooze
one time too many
i wanted some coffee
but there wasn’t any
my car wouldn’t start
i was late to work
my boss dressed me down
and called me a jerk

i’ll tackle tomorrow
after i’ve had some rest
i’ll tackle tomorrow
and be at my best
today there was trouble
today there was sorrow
i’ll cast them aside
when i tackle tomorrow

insomnia last night
has made me feel groggy
the sandwich i’d packed
by lunch became soggy
no reason to quit
i know that i’m stuck
why find another job
cuz all of them suck

i skipped happy hour
for i’d had my fill
no power at home
i hadn’t paid the bill
i couldn’t use my phone
the battery had died
the day kept getting darker
and so did my mind
