Infinite Potential better known as IP aka I.Peezy has made quite a name for himself in Alberta’s hip-hop scene & internationally. As a part of two legendary hip-hop crews from Calgary (Endangered Species and Tedz Rocket formerly known as NWNB) IP helped pioneer a scene in his hometown.

Introduced to hip-hop in the late 80’s and inspired to participate in 1990 by a classmate who moved from Jamaica to Canada, IP fell in love with the culture of breakdancers, beatboxers, turntablists, emcees and graf writers. Starting off with intricate freestyles, IP later grew as an artist honing his skills in MC battles, entertaining crowds at house parties and performing and recording with recognized Canadian & US MCs like Moka Only, Jeff Spec, Rich Kidd, Lucky I Am, Main Flow etc.

 IP is also a great sample based producer who prides himself on creating heavy soundscapes that make your head nod. With over 10 years experience IP guarantees something dope behind the boards for his own songs or other artists he works with. He currently uses an ASR-10 / Maschine and owes a lot of his inspiration to other great producers like: DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Diamond D, The Alchemist, J-Dilla, Nottz, Moka Only, Madlib & The Beatnuts.

 IP has toured coast to coast in Canada as both a headliner with his group’s Everybody Soul & NWNB and as an opener for such hip-hop greats like Slum Village, Souls of Mischief, and Swollen Members. IP also toured western Canada with Aceyalone(2008) & Raekwon The Chef(2010) to sold out crowds. In addition to this IP has been featured on Vibe 98.5, charted on various Canadian college stations(earshot) and has showcased at nationally recognized music showcases like New Music West (Vancouver), Under Pressure (Montreal) and Vans Warped Tour (Calgary).

IP also engages youth through hip-hop music & culture. IP has been a part of the community through his work in "Bounce Back" a program invented by Vince Joachim to spread hope, ambition and positive mentorship through hip-hop, photography & video. IP has partnered with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Calgary, Youth Calgary, The Calgary Young Offenders Center & Center For Newcomers encouraging youth & immigrants to be creative & follow their dreams.

ill Lyrics has been making hip hop music for over 15 years and put out more than 5 albums with great success! 

ill Lyrics has performed on stage all over Vancouver island with many other hip hop artists who are an important part of the underground west coast hip hop scene such as (Most importantly) The Champions AkA the island all Stars! Sweatshop Union, Homegrown crew, Fatty Down, Royal T (RiP),
Emotionz, and many more. 

In his early years of rap music he started on Gabriola Island while in elementary school with breakdancing.
Through high school @NDSS he got into the breakdancing scene and frequented hip hop freestyle cyphers, an integral part of the hip hop culture.
But then ill Lyrics went to a house party on Gabriola and met JB1 whom taught him how to freestyle on the microphone! It all clicked after that! 

Years into the making of his music career ill Lyrics started a hip hop group called “The Beat Shiners”
Which included artists, Billy Suede, EMC, Burg, Jesse James, and  JD the Architect!
After years of performing shows and putting out mixtapes with the group, ill Lyrics started his solo career. With much success he produced and released multiple albums and performed a countless amount of shows.

Around 2010 ill Lyrics started Djing on vinyl where he would frequently play at house parties,Clubs and Pubs, raves and just about anywhere he could play music he loves for others.

Today ill Lyrics still Dj’s and produces hip hop music including beat production while running his own construction business. He is a great father, uncle, brother, son and friend to all of his loved ones.
