About The Breakup:
This is my first concept album consisting of all original material, touching on varying themes of a subject which seems so relevant, especially since it will release exactly six months from February 14, on the opposite side of VDay. 

I worked with some phenomenal singers, musicians, co-writers, and co-producers, and I am proud of each one of these songs, for different reasons. 

Whether you're working hard, relaxing in bed, riding in your car, or letting loose on the dance floor, The Breakup will not let you down. My hope is that you will relate to some (or all) of what I will share, either in your personal life, or in your professional world.

Besides having one of the better (possibly the best) band names we’ve come across in the past month, South Africa’s BIG FKN GUN offer a compelling collage of  Zulu rhymes spread over house beats and resonating dub effects. Producer Soulfaktor and MC Solomon pull off the genre collage well on “Pop Models,” tying it all together with a Cody Chesnutt-esque neo-soul chorus.
