Mark Tarmonea ist DJ, Live-Act, Produzent, Multiinstrumentalist und Labelgründer – und vor allem jemand, der Musik als Berufung versteht. Geboren in Sibiu, Rumänien, aufgewachsen in Deutschland, fand er früh zur Musik, lernte Keyboard, Gitarre, Bass und Schlagzeug. Heute bewegt er sich zwischen House und Techno, kombiniert analoge Synths, Drum Machines und Live-Vocals zu emotionalen, druckvollen Tracks. Releases wie Stay, Darkness Falls oder seine Zusammenarbeit mit Rauschhaus zeigen seine Handschrift: melodiös, kraftvoll, tief. Remixe von Künstlern wie Ae:ther, Hernán Cattáneo oder Korolova bestätigen seinen Stellenwert in der Szene. Mit seinen Labels Bull In A China Shop, Eye And Eye und Elysion Recordings gibt er auch anderen Artists eine Plattform. Live erlebt man ihn auf Festivals wie SonneMondSterne oder in Clubs wie Ritter Butzke.

"Four Corners of Loss" is the moment of the gathering. Four strangers—two women, two men—arrive from the ends of the map, drawn together by an unspoken grief. Each carries a relic of their past: a key to a house that no longer exists; a picture, burned and torn apart; a father's watch whose hands are frozen in time; a mother's book with pages soaked in tears. They meet in a place where the compass is broken and secrets hide in plain sight.

This track is the first single from a full, four-act Symphonic Metal Opera. It's an epic tale that explores the weight of memory, the burden of unspoken words, and the arduous path toward collective healing. It asks the question: Can our deepest wounds become the source of our greatest strength?

A fusion of crushing metal riffs, soaring orchestral arrangements, and theatrical, narrative vocals creates a cinematic soundscape for a story of loss and redemption.

"Four Corners of Loss" ist der Moment des Sammelns. Vier Fremde – zwei Männer und zwei Frauen – finden von den Enden der Landkarte zusammen, vereint durch eine unausgesprochene Trauer. Jeder von ihnen trägt ein Relikt seiner Vergangenheit: einen Schlüssel zu einem Haus, das nicht mehr existiert; ein verbranntes, zerrissenes Bild; die Uhr eines Vaters, deren Zeiger in der Zeit eingefroren sind; das Buch einer Mutter, dessen Seiten von Tränen getränkt sind. Sie treffen sich an einem Ort, an dem der Kompass zerbrochen ist und Geheimnisse sich offen verbergen.

Dieser Song ist die erste Single aus einer vollständigen, vieraktigen Symphonic Metal Oper. Here is my Boom Festival 2025 set. I love this festival from the bottom of my heart. The spirit of oneness and connection on the dancefloor is strong. Everybody is plugged into the source. As an artist and raver, I can be 100% myself. 

This set is quite introspective for such a big stage. I find that for Boom, a flowing, psychedelic approach works better than playing banger after banger. I learned this after witnessing Wata Igarashi deliver a super deep yet thoroughly satisfying set here two years ago. Story trumps climax.
