In roughly two thousand years from now, when civilization has been devastated by human insatiability, few people remain. Their life is elementary and rough. They dearly miss lost knowledge. Vaguely they sense that their language is somewhat twisted. Its meaning must be painfully guessed. All their attempts to capture the true facts of their existence are in vain: The world is just secrets and enemies. The past feels like a grim, reverberant echo of loose imaginations.

Riddley Walker (1980) is an experimental science fiction novel by Russell Hoban. It inspired “Riddleyspeak”, the eighth release of Comfortnoise, written and produced by new-dot-com. five not entirely familiar club and sound system tracks: breakbeat influenced, techno leaning, and bass-heavy.

Paris-based producer and DJ Kosaa returns with People In Line, a refined three-track EP showcasing his distinct take on hypnotic techno—stripped-back, spacious, and detail-oriented. Wrapping things up, Pressure Dome founder @Yushh returns to Control Freak with her own flip of title track Bunzunkunzun, bringing down the BPM for a menacing rework that’s punctuated by her signature wonky rhythms.
