This one started out as 2 different incomplete projects (in different keys) after failing to fully actualize either I thought I'd fuse the 2 into one piece with lyrics that touch on longing and loss.

This was unavoidable for me.  Politics aside, I think we can all agree that the mounting innocent victims of global conflict are a tragedy beyond measure.  These casualties should not be ignored as we sit in the comforts of our cushy little lives.

About this track

From the 1970 album “Confusion” By Big Brother Ernie Joseph
That features the the ever talented Orosco Brothers Ernie, Cory, and Brian.
It was recorded in Los Angeles California at Night City Recording Studio.
The studio featured a state of art 1/2 inch 4 track tape recorder.
The album was released on Uni records in LA, an unknown number of vinyl records were pressed.
It was produced By John Holmes  who also produced the Strawberry Alarm Clock.
Big Brother Ernie Joseph toured across the United States including the historic Love Valley Music Festival in 1970, headlined by the Allman Brothers Band. The Love Valley concert in South Carolina became known as "The Birthplace of Southern Rock”, and drew a crowd of 200,000 people. The band was interrupted by the Viet Nam war as members were drafted into the service.

I had 3 sax improvisations, and could not decide, which to release - so, here's the first one :-)) ... Paul is amazing ! I am amazed at the level of talented artists encountered on this site.  Sharing and providing feedback is such an effective way to nurture the creative process.  I am so inspired by many of you.
