Famous Forgotten Artists, a small virtual industry led alone by Joan Sala, from the city of Barcelona. Crea-tor of musical experiences from genres such as krautrock, synth-pop, ambient... mixed with industrial, dark-wave, progressive, psychedelic and rock. 
FFA make music for the 21st century but following in the footsteps of the pioneers who explored electronics in the 1970s and developed it in the 1980s. 
Retro-futuristic electronic music that questions how robotics and artificial intelligence can make the pres-ence of the human species unnecessary. How the deterioration of illusions, the destruction of nature and the passage of time can affect us. And deep reflection or not, how we got here and if this was what we wanted.
We review some of the tracks produced by Famous Forgotten Artists throughout their more than 10-year career. And we do it by accompanying them with the music of other bands and musicians who have inspired, like or admire them.

Niklas David (Klangbad part of Audiac) has done a new interpretation based on audio tracks from an unreleased production by Achim Reichel from 1982, with unreleased songs by the eccentric. Immersing yourself in Stingl's world is worth it!

Also, to discover: Kristof Schreuf (Kolossal Jugend und Brüllen), co-founder and mastermind of the Hamburger Schule. His only solo album »Bourgeois with Guitar« from 2010 represented an almost intimate exploration of pop and rock history, in which Schreuf appropriated classics from AC/DC to Donna Summer, enriched them with other pop quotes and added other and original melodies and guitar motifs. On the other hand, his long-awaited debut novel »Anfänger im Rocken« has remained unfinished. Kristof Schreuf died on November 9th at the age of 59, his voice is already missing.

Mix for the Shizzle from Tea-Snuggery
Tea-Snuggery is Threeemoji aka Tom Bossert. Born in 1976, his musical path quickly led him to electronic music. From Krautrock and bands like Cluster, Can and Kraftwerk in his youth, to the early 90s with the start of the techno movement and club culture in Germany. His sets have always been oriented towards this development, never just one or the other.
For more than a decade Tom has presented the Tea Snuggery Show on various stations which now resides on Threads Radio. The focus is on music, far from the mainstream, from ambient to zef - out of the comfort zone and into the depths of electronic music and other various genres.

The mix takes you on a journey through artists who have performed on the show (Famous Forgotten Artists, Die Wilde Jagd, David Fenech, Isak Anderssen, Ufo Hawaii), some obscure gems and recent releases from The Horrors, Saeko Kill, Heartworms, DECIUS and much more.  Listen with care.

Weird and wonderful is the name of the game - a musical journey out from the Tea-Snuggery - way off mainstream: impulsive, spontaneous, demanding - hopefully never boring!

:(:/:) aka ThreeEmoji, is Tom Bossert. Born in 1976, his musical journey quickly led him to electronics. From Kraut Rock and bands like Cluster, Can and Kraftwerk in his youth, to the early 90’s with the start of the techno movement and club culture in Germany. His sets have always pulled on this progression, never purely one thing or the other.
One of his major influences is DJ Marcelle from Amsterdam, and her way of breaking conventions. Music is a world phenomenon and so its output should reflect this. Just like a nervous Zen master on tenterhooks, waiting for the very last sound, impulsive but deeply circumspect, it should bring together everything in a Jackson Pollock-like manner. For Tom, spontaneity and improvisation are always more important than perfection.

The Tea-Snuggery wants to invite the listeners to discover new music and artists from all over the world – enjoy and listen with care! q:
