Description: The name "Code 8 on 8" comes from the area codes for two places where I learned the most about Blackness and my own personal definition of it: Philadelphia and Atlanta. 215 and 404, the sum of both of which is 8, hence the name. The A-Side is more of an electric jazz funk tune, while the B-Side is straight-up hip hop. Good and bad experiences both, it all helped shape who I am and what I'm about.
