With their chemical beats, sexy grooves and killer electronics, BOX have more than a few surprises up their sleeves when they combine their music with a cheeky array of sex movie samples and on-stage visuals!

BOX comprises of Mark and Andy; a pairing which combines intelligent dance music with a devilish sense of humour. Both are also in the successful dance funk outfit NEEB (North Eastern Electricity Band) who have played Glastonbury Festival and sold 40,000 downloads of their music.

Mark mentioned, "we still really enjoy playing in NEEB, and BOX allows us to explore new music and the wicked sides of our personalities".

Amongst their own tunes, they perform live with remixes of Prince's 'Darling Nicky'; Captain & Tennille's 'Do That To Me One More Time'; and their popular 'Dirty Big Balls' AC/DC mash-up. In addition BOX have remixed Electrochemie's Mucky Star and Delphic's This Momentary in 2009.

Mark and Andy have been creating and playing music together for the past 20 years and their roots lay within the progressive indie-rock of the bands, Procession and Demon Summer. After attending many raves in the early nineties listening to bands like LFO, Orbital, The Orb, Leftfield and Eat Static; the duo developed a taste themselves for creating this style of music.

BOX are influenced by Orbital, Daft Punk, Death in Vegas, Chemical Brothers, Nine Inch Nails, LFO, mu-ziq, Andrew Weatherill, Underworld, Basement Jaxx, Sasha, Dirty Vegas and Machine Gun Fellatio.
