It blooms but just as quickly goes extinct.
Can't spread without consistent help from pollenating bees.

Like drones inside a hive, they drive on highways half asleep.
Single minded, perfect to accomplish tasks of breed.
Sedated as a mass to quell this mob mentality
and I've said this.

Keen as any peach, so I might be
bruised extremely easily while they transport me.
Not to mention all the dangers while we ripen on the tree-
birds could peck my fuzzy skin to get down to the meat.
Funny how the facts they gave mislead.
The difference of an oxford comma they said we don't need
and now, if times a line and space is ever curving-
logic ought to say our aim was screwed from the beginning. 
Now, I think it was.

As children we are born out of this wakeful state of clarity.
Seeing through the oversized wide eyes we had as infants.
We lay awake and think at night while others get to sleep,
So mechanical at times you'd think they dream electric sheep.

Mock'N U

This time I hear the sound I feel the rush
and I feel like I'm robbed of all the words to say
and now from far away I feel a push

and now I hear the footsteps down the hall
and I am sure their sentiment was jaded.

osmotically we gather from the boughs
a reservoir of current, we can drink the voltage down
designed the ebb and flow to store our wattage in the clouds
stopped in nimbus circuit blocks where lightning drains it

don't focus on the steps, or think about the ground,
just have strength and faith enough so we can shimmer like a mouse.
we will only be one tense, and feel our way by facing change.
so keep it under our hats, and keep this under the rose for now.

This time I aim to wager all the way
and I know the risk is never what it claims
and now the rules are all that we have
I aim to break them.

The Meditative Knows

I can't be wrong if I'm not even thinking
right now is just the time for instinct
and I feel it like a powder keg inside of me
seems like I will never learn, still choking on the words.

Only a flash or a glimpse of myself as a kid

A dream, or a flash, or a glimpse woken up by a pinch
from a life that I know I'm not meant to taste
get a job, get a grip, find a wife, have some kids
keep my thoughts from the clouds so others can relate
still a boy, still afraid of the dark

This is something I made up
