Jonathan Tineo better known as Dj Jonathan “The Talent Kidd” born in Paterson, NJ. on October 1, 1987. Dj Jonathan was a child that always carried the passion for music in his heart. His parents use to buy him musical instruments which he would play through out his entire childhood. In 2006 Jonathan traveled to the island of Hawaii with his first job as a Military Police Officer in the U.S. Army. Shortly after he started buying his own dj equipment. After that he began to mark his territory as a DJ doing parties for friends and co-workers. Jonathan later went on to work a second job in a nightclubs where every Friday and Saturday he would practice his mixes and his crowd engagement. During this jorney he met Nancy Ortiz (Coordinator of all Latino events in Hawaii). Nancy and Jonathan established a very good friendship, even so that Nancy decided to give him an opportunity to dj on her radio show. After this opportunity Jonathan took advantage and began promoting hisself as a DJ by using the internet, cds, flyers and business cards. During this time Jonathan achieved to perform in many clubs and Latin concerts to include “ESPN World Salsa Championships.”
In 2010 Jonathan returned to NJ. While presenting Reggaeton Artist “Arcangel” in Philadelphia, Jonathan met Ricardo Hurtado (Founder/CEO of El Sol Latino Newspaper). Richardo was impressed with the talent that Jonathan had as DJ and entertainer. In fact Ricardo contracted Jonathan for several concerts to include “Amarfis, Toby Love, N’Klabe, Huey Dunbar, Tito El Bambino, Oro Solido, Brenda K. Starr, J King y Maximan, Yomo, and Rakim & Ken Y”. From there the Philadelphia public began to know Dj Jonathan.
In 2011 Jonathan received a call informing him that there will be a new latin radio station in Philadelphia. Jonathan was determined to obtain an interview for a position with the station. Few days later Jonathan managed to get an interview with Hancel Castro (The Program Director). Jonathan arrived to the interview prepared with mixes, event photos, and letters of recommendations. Hancel was very impressed and decided to offer Jonathan a job as the Exclusive DJ for WHAT: El Zol 1340, El Ritmo De Philly.
Til this date DJ Jonathan is part of several on air shows on El Zol 1340 (Monday-Friday Lunch Break Mix 12noon, Friday Nights “Friday Night Fiesta” 7pm-10pm, and Saturday Afternoons “La Zona Urbana” 3-7pm).
In May 2013 Dj Jonathan became an official member of the Latin Connection Family.
