What Shogan has been able to accomplish as an artist is the ability to remain original with his style of music and lyrics. Having written and produced over 100 tracks and collaborating with artist form almost every genre of music, Shogan continues to maintain his unique style of music mixed with positive messages and love.
Born in Freetown, Sierra Leone and attended the Bo School, Shogan as a victim of the war in Liberia, came to America in 1998 and has since lived in California. As an immigrant with no right to work or go to school, he made a living by being a musician, producer and show promoter.  As a permanent resident he continues to work with the Sierra Leonean and African American community organizing events, activities and plays an active role as a community leader. 
As a gifted musician Shogan has written several hit songs notably Is it true, Ladi dodi and the popular local hit Bedroom Bazooka. He not only writes and produces music but also creates unique instrumentals that are inspired by his love of African rhythms and reggae. On stage is where he feels most at home. Shogan has performed in over 30 differient venues in several cities and states. He has opened for acts like E-40, Cannibus , L-Jay from Clefnotes and hosted renowned international artist like ShadyBaby from Sierra Leone. As a community activist, Shogan has volunteered his time, money and music to non-profit organizations and community groups.

ImageDis is an Afro singer / rapper and also songwriter from Sierra Leone. The development of his unique style is the result of a lifetime of musical influences. Growing up in a talented musical family meant he was always surrounded by different forms of music. His parents exposed him to a wealth of music as a child, all of which influenced his development. The Afro act is keen to point out that everything he listen to directs his musical development in some way. However, he would certainly include P Square, 441, YOK7, Supa Laj, Jimmy B, Succulent and Soundboy Richie as amongst his biggest influences. 

In 2014 ImageDis released hits like Kill me slow and Tinkolo which were produced by Lanzo Matic. The songs provide a combination of their enticing mellow vocals, with rhythmic drums and punctuated throughout with elements of reggae, hip-hop, punk, jazz, pop and R&B.
Before this, ImageDis was among several artists headed by Lanzo Matic but they soon figured that there is a better way and dropped out of the pack and started working on his solo career. ImageDis is a versatile musician who can mix Afrobeats & Hip hop into a smooth package that sooth the ears and be sure to hear him a lot more and winning awards.

Tears Record was originally founded in 1996 at a street corner in Sierra Leone, West  Africa. This has since elevated into a record label managed by KOI-J himself. KOI-J, the spiritual one would often thank God for this great achievement.  It is hoped that the KOI-J’s story is one that would inspire other young artists who are going through growing pains currently.  “Tears” is simply defined as the act of weeping or grieving which is just a natural human reaction to pain. It may also be considered as a symbol of  emotions that an individual that has endured.  Tears represent symbolism of the hardship KOI-J experienced from the civil war in Sierra Leone to the time he immigrated to the US.  To God be the Glory!  Great things he has done!
