Nostalgia with a twist - Casual Connection brings a freshness to the Disco, Funk & RnB gems that he so expertly curates. Sampling, editing and re-working classic tracks, his productions are respectful of their origination while bringing something modern and inventive to create a genuine and unique signature sound. 

Casual Connection's, aka Lukasz Ru-Kasu absorbed music from an early age as if by osmosis. From age 8 he grew a passion for music and now has been actively DJing since 2002 and producing since 2014.

Since he started producing back in 2014, Casual Connection has been named in Traxsource's Top 100 Nu Disco artists for 7 consecutive years. He has also been featured in DJ Mag, DJ City, Warner Music's Cool Accidents and gotten over 65 #1's on Hyppedit.

As a DJ, Casual Connection has built a strong following in his hometown, Perth, as well as playing gigs in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Queensland, New Zealand, Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia (Bali) & Splendour In The Grass, Club MTV, RnB Friday's, Listen Out Festival, Spiltmilk Festival, Groovin The Moo Festival, VIVID Festival.

As a producer, his tracks are played all over the world with support from some of the biggest names in the game such as All Good Funk Alliance, The Funk Hunters, Featurecast, Dr Packer, DJ Yoda, John Morales, Mark Rae, Pete Herbert, Fort Knox Five, Grant Nelson, The NDYD collective and many others.

Named a ‘stellar edits provider’ by Mixmag and the ‘nu-disco don’ by Juno, Andy Buchan has become one of the leading names in the disco and edit scene. His music and edits have been played by BBC 6 Music, Greg Wilson, Optimo, Massive Attack’s Daddy G, Horse Meat Disco and Craig Charles, while Andy holds down residencies across Leeds, Manchester, Edinburgh and Southport alongside regular club and festival bookings.

With over 200 releases across chart-topping releases on dozens of disco-fried labels, including Peppermint Jam, Hot Digits, Midnight Riot and Paper Disco, Andy launched his Hot Gorilla Records imprint in 2020 along with Conan The Selector. The label hit the ground running, with several Juno Download No.1s, multiple Traxsource Top 10s and four tracks in the Best of 2021 Beatport chart. That led to the Hot Gorilla funky monkeys becoming DJ support for The Brand New Heavies' sell-out UK tour. 

Andy’s own music has been picked up for reviews in DJ Mag and Mixmag, plus radio support from 6Music and Rinse FM and club and festival plays from big-name DJs, including Bicep, Claptone, Horse Meat Disco, Greg Wilson, Peggy Gou, Justin Robertson, Electric Chair and more. That support took an interesting turn when the British National Library Sound Archive asked him to enter his back catalogue into their music collection! 

His previous residences include Chow Down and Flight Club in Leeds, Inventery and Grosvenor in Manchester alongside regular guest slots at legendary Edinburgh club The Street and the Southport Disco Festival. Alongside that, Andy has played across the UK in recent years, warming up for Huey 6 Music, Craig Charles, Dr Packer, Groove Armada, Psychemagik, Hot Chip and headlining at gigs in Manchester, Birmingham, York, Dubai and Todmorden’s legendary Golden Lion pub. 

This is just the latest chapter in Andy’s career. After freelancing for Mixmag and training as a journalist, he moved to Dubai in 2004, working for Time Out Dubai before launching DJ Mag Middle East. He was a regular on the club and festival scene, first with his own long-running, award-winning nights and with long-term residencies at Pacha and Trilogy, alongside back-to-back bookings for Creamfields UAE. It was in Dubai that he cemented his open-genre, curveball DJ style by playing alongside a wide variety of DJs like Fatboy Slim, Mark Ronson, Basement Jaxx, Todd Terje, Norman Jay, Liam Gallagher, Feel My Bicep, Graeme Park and more.

Now back in the UK, he’s become a mainstay of the disco scene while his label Hot Gorilla Records continues to grow into one of the most exciting labels in the scene, including festival slots at Beatherder and Standon Calling.

Hot Gorilla Records launched with a bang including several Juno Download No.1s, multiple Traxsource Top 10s and four tracks in the Best of 2021 Beatport chart. Plus they’ve had repeat plays from BBC 6 Music and support from Greg Wilson, Horse Meat Disco and Craig Charles. Hot Gorilla Records also supported The Brand New Heavies on their 2021 sell-out tour across the UK.

Javi Palmero es un Dj y productor Valenciano con una amplia carrera ligada a todos los ámbitos de la escena del ocio nocturno. A los 14 años comienza a mezclar en clubs de la zona de Valencia y al cumplir la mayoría de edad, se desplaza a Barcelona para seguir su crecimiento personal y profesional, lo que le lleva a interesarse por la electrónica que ya empezaba a destacar en la ciudad condal. Influenciado por los sonidos de artistas como Carl Cox o Ben Sims entre otros, se vuelca de lleno en la especialización en este ámbito.
Iniciando así sus estudios como técnico de sonido y producción de electrónica en una de las academias más prestigiosas de Barcelona.
Su música ha sido escuchada en multitud de salas a nivel nacional e internacional, entre las que podemos destacar Bora Bora, Pacha, Es Paradis y Edén en Ibiza; Puzzle, Friends, Bananas, Spook y Barraca en Valencia. A nivel nacional ha recorrido el pais de un extremo a otro entre las que cabe descatar su participacion en la Sala But de Madrid, Movie Pamplona y City Hall, Razzmataz y Sala Apolo de Barcelona.
Cabe destacar que ha estado presente en sesiones de estas y muchas otras salas, siendo él y otros artistas quienes han tocado su música, y sin olvidarnos de varios festivales a nivel nacional como Spring Festival y Medusa (Valencia) entre muchos otros. 
Actualmente es Dj residente en Ibiza White Experience y Barraca.
