here's my set from the Last Planet Livestream (05.23.2020) for the premiere of the "Skylab" compilation. i went pretty dark and moody with this one, including a grip of my favourite artists at the moment.

Lysis is a drum and bass DJ from Thunder Bay, ON.
She is the co-founder of Thunder Bay Bass Collective and Submerged Sound, and a host of the Submerged Sound show on Sub.FM.

Lysis has spent her entire career working to grow the underground scene at home. As a founding member of Submerged Sound, Thunder Bay Bass Collective, and former director of Sub Zero and Love and Kindness music festivals, Lysis is well known for supporting homegrown talent in Thunder Bay and the surrounding areas. She’s a strong advocate for showcasing new talent, supporting diverse artists, and setting an example for respect and fair compensation in the industry.

Lysis has built her reputation on diverse sets that draw on a broad spectrum of subgenres. With a focus on crisp, hard-hitting percussion and deep, resounding basslines, her roots in techstep always shine through in her selections. Her deep love for exploring new sounds means Lysis always finds unique and interesting ways to blend a wide variety of styles into her performances and keep audiences on their
toes. 

Lysis has been invited to share the stage with the likes of Dieselboy, Downlink, Marcus Visionary, Calyx and Teebee, and many more. She’s contributed guest mixes for Ritual Radio on Dubplate.FM, the DnB Girls Podcast, Bass Movement on dnbradio.com, Subconscious Selections, and Shift Radio on UMFM, and has made festival appearances at Future Forest, Valhalla Sound Circus, and Bloom Festival, with more to come.

Lysis crafts every set with intention with inclusions from a complementary range of genres in the 160-180 bpm range, while staying true to her roots in techstep. Her versatile mixing style and bass-heavy blend of underground sounds take the listener on a journey from start to finish, with performances guaranteed to keep the dancefloor engaged at any venue.
