For our 22nd Techburst release we had a very tasty remix package of Mark Sherry & Gene Karz’s first collab 'Spacewarp' and it’s now turn for their 2nd collab track 2 'Global Eclipse' to get the remix treatment. HP Source from down under kick off the proceedings with a pounding interpretation that features a truly devastating drop that’s reminiscent of that Len Faki/Stranger to Stability sound that we absolutely love! Next up is one of Carl Cox's favourite producers at the moment, Steve Mulder. Steve gives us one of his trademark dark & moody remixes that we already know sounds amazing when it oozes out of those powerful club sound system bass-bins. Hell Driver is a firm favourite here at TBR HQ and with this slick remix he shows us why yet again. With a slightly more stripped-back approach, Ben gives us a really fresh alternative addition to the pack. Last but not least, Tea Vuckovic from Slovenia is one of our latest discoveries - and what a talented producer she is! Darmec’s remix of Mark Sherry’s collab with Gene Karz - ‘Spacewarp’ - recently went to #1 on the Beatport ‘hard techno’ chart and stayed there for over 10 weeks! This uber-talented producer is now back on TBR with his own EP that features the tracks 'My Silence' & 'Bavaria'. The former is in Darmec's trademark slamming techno style but has an almost 'trance-like' feel, whereas the latter adds even more diversity to the release: with it's twisted rave sirens, eerie sound-scape and thunderous kickdrum. Filth on Acid rounds off an excellent year with another fantastic and forward thinking EP. This one comes from Alex Mine, an Italian psychonaut who will take you to the deeper parts of your mind, making sure that every dawn matters after some proper raving.
This is Filth on Acid NOW. 

Opener Ultra is a dark, hard hitting techno cut with heavy drums that power you into the night. Ego is more melodic, with a deft synth riff drifting about above train track grooves, and Andromeda then sucks you in with its hypnotic drums and cosmic, sci-fi melodies and shooting synth stabs. Last of all, Dawn Matter is the most astral of the lot, with smooth drums rolling deep and subtle acid pricks disappearing off to the horizon. 

This is a superb EP that shows off Alex Mine’s various vital techno styles.

Amazing to to see you all here again and super excited to unfold another musical story in our weekly gathering. 
I want every mix to sound a little different so that we have a fresh story, so this week I’m going to hide your comments (not in a rude way) so that you can hear how I would play if was doing one of my regular jamming sessions at home, often these session take me in some weird and wonderful places as I’m testing/experimenting what will work and how to place it in my set, I get a little more experimental and daring and I want you to experience this too.

Currently with no gig income or government support for our JOOF company, this effects many within the JOOF office family and I’m doing my best to ensure we all make it through this. John 00 Fleming - JOOF Session 004

Crashguard also known as Pascal Quadratemps started as a one man techno project and he had his first release on USA Import in Antwerp Belgium. This is where he met the legendary artist M.I.K.E. Push and went on to release a few projects as Musix together. Eventually this paved the way for what soon became their pseudo collaboration together of today – Crashguard. After a few years the boys teamed up and decided to combine a very melodic, yet dark-techno sound of today. The indistinguishable melodic techno sounds of M.I.K.E. Push in combination with Pascal’s darker techno touch make tremendous chemistry in their productions that works brilliantly on the dancefloors.
