Techenie presents the fifth episode of the Reka podcast, the mix for which was recorded by a talented musician and producer from Amsterdam - Seabra Monkey @seabra_monkey .

Seabra Monkey was very inspired by the Reka compilation released on Techenie in March, and he decided to make a special mix out of it, which was called "VA REKA One on One with Seabra Monkey". It turned out to be a truly interesting and holistic work, which was also incluted by two remixes of the track LLLIT.

Liuos seemed to arrive on the dub techno scene all at once with Terms EP, his strong debut on Cold Tear Records, but this was the culmination of two decades of experimentation and discipline. A unique mix of power and spaciousness, of both longing and will, Liuos’ work stands out for its clarity and expansiveness. Working steadily from his modest studio in Finland, Liuos has quietly become a respected name in the world of dub techno, with releases on Cold Tear, Lucidflow, and spclnch, and remixes for Superordinate Dub Waves and Off Records (Belgium).

Electronic musician, producer and remixer, creates experimental Dub Techno/Ambient/Deep Techno. On such labels as Crossfade Sounds, Slope Point, Ecoul SND, Echoshapes, Secret Domain, Superordinate Dub Waves, Hello Strange, Proton Radio, Pirahna Siberia Dub, Liberty Rhythm, Seesaw Records, Techenie. A deep sound, where atmospheric patterns infinitely envelop, move behind them into free space, cosmic vibrations are combined with modern electronic rhythms.

X_FR — the sonic identity of Alexander Kotlov, a sound producer and DJ from Novosibirsk, the beating heart of Siberia. As a co-founder and visionary of the label [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB], Alexander is a pioneer of a unique musical movement that channels the spirit of his homeland. Born in 1983, he has journeyed from a passionate love for music to crafting an entire universe of sound — one that leaves no listener untouched. As one of the label's key ideologists, he shapes not only the sound but the very philosophy of contemporary dub techno. X_FR is, indeed, the architect of Siberian sound.

Under the moniker Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer, in a creative alliance with his brother ENERCUBE (@enercube), Alexander weaves sonic tapestries where simplicity meets brilliance. Their tracks transport listeners to the soul of Siberian landscapes — rugged, majestic, yet profoundly meditative. The music of X_FR is a true alchemy of sound, where the shadows of basslines intertwine with the tenderness of melodies, and minimalism unfolds into boundless depth. In the work of the two brothers, a rare harmony emerges — the product of a shared vision and familial connection. Their tracks awaken the inner world of the listener, inviting moments of mindfulness and introspection.
