This gorgeous and haunting piece of minimal, melodic techno from Matt Dwellers first appeared on Techgnosis Vol. III earlier this year, while the initial plans for this remix-focused single/EP go back to mid-2016.  

Label artists Crennwick and Ken Zo put their own progressive tech-focused spin on the track, while newcomer Doppel and special guest Mila Dietrich dive into more deep and tech house territory.

For the first time in label history, Keinemusik is putting out an EP with just remixes. The moniker for this: Doppelgänger. The reason for this: Well, we like remixes and were curious to find out how other artists, artists that we appreciate a lot, would approach our material. Why now, you might ask. Why wait for the catalogue number KM038? See, we just wanted to offer those guys a decent pool of tracks to choose from.

Simple Symmetry are going for Adam Ports I Never Wear Black on Side A, transforming the original into a dramatic ride through gong echoing frenzy and riff-heavy e-guitar emphasis. The originals guitar lead on the other hand gets some synthetic treatment, just to be backed up by spaced out synth melodies and an organic bassline.

The second chapter sees &MEs and Finks gruelling comedown score One On One turn into a meditation over groove, courtesy of Bedouin. The guys are going for a sparse, sophisticated arrangement, opening space for Finks shattered croon, yet raising the temperature after the break into a threatening, string-laden climax.

The closing assignment is handled by Redshape. Hes repositioning Rampas Newborn Soul through his very own dark recourse on Electro-Techno. The producer enigma even more so adds some EBM flavour to his signature sound, incorporating a catchy synth bass and heavy, stomping beat. Floor quaking material indeed.

Dirty Disco Kid - Lost (Original Mix)

We are thrilled to be offering up the label debut EP from renowned scene artist Diamandy. 'Insanity Syndrome' is unapologetically dance floor oriented, with a prominent and killer kick/bass hook that will satiated even the most jaded of party-goers and DJs.  

On remix duties, we are happy to be bringing back the one-and-only Trilingo, whose signature sound is ever-present in his meaty, minimal tech interpretation. The 2nd is from the Montreal-based producer/DJ  Omni, whose excellent, driving tech rendition is testament to his years of experience behind the decks and producing tracks for top labels.

Instead of only releasing these VA's we have decided to take it one step further and start regular remix editions as well. Not only is this a way to showcase the best performing tracks on these albums, but it also gives a chance for the artists on these 'Rockets' VA's to support and remix each other!

Canadian producer Return of the Jaded makes an outstanding debut on Purified Records with his two-track ‘Soma’ EP. The title production is a slow-burning creation, which radiates a brooding energy with an alluring female vocal piece and delectably dark bassline. Covering The Smashing Pumpkins ‘Soma’, this rendition features deep guitar licks and psychedelic synths and commands attention with its enticing aura. Providing an instrumental counterpart to the title track, ‘Taiga’ builds gradually across its duration and transforms into an out-of-this-world electronic masterpiece. Blending a raw and reverberating bassline with striking space-like synths, this seven-minute creation sweeps the listener off their feet on a truly otherworldly journey.
