I was going for something a bit different with this remix. Its somewhere between IDM and Pop, with a little splash of Dubstep for good measure. I was feeling a lot of directions here, and so it goes for a bit of a ride. Hope you enjoy!

About the Clipping Paths Compilation:

The original Clipping Paths compilation in 2007 set a tone for many emerging sounds from Muti Music and featured ‘then’ new artists Ooah, Vibesquad, Audiovoid, Nanda, Timonkey, Slidecamp and Muti regulars like An-ten-nae and Dov, needless to say it has been quoted by many as an influence and has proven to help define new sounds that have blown up in the years that followed.

Dov compiles the Clipping Paths compilations and says,”Clipping Paths has no real theme other than slightly experimental broken beats that somehow try to blend ‘pretty’ with ‘hard’, the emphasis being on a listeners experience and maybe a chance of dancing. I always take this compilation a little more personally as they are all tunes that move me deeply in some way and I spend a lot of time with the tunes trying to find a certain flow that makes it a journey.”

‘Clipping Paths 2’ proves to be an epic listeners journey and it does deliver a healthy dose of pretty and just a smidgen of the hard to make the pretty stand out just a little more, the artists featured prove to be high end producers with a healthy amount of wonky attitude and understanding of some deeper musical realms.

South of the United States?A man participates in a Amerindian Invocation ceremony.

Without understanding what is happening to him or why,
The sound of unknown percussion pierces his eyes.
He loses the notion of reality little by little,
He, now answering only in the name of the devil.
Burns under serious and heavy sounds such a storm. 
The ashes fly away, the wind finishes him as a freeform. 

The man wakes up, in the shadow of his horse 
He regains his senses, it was a dream of course
Continuing his travel, the conquest of the west, the great,
He gets back in saddle, without lose his fate.
When suddenly the heat cut his breath, 
His body memory hit him like the death.

No doubt, if the invocation was a dream,
He still did not wake up, deaf by the scream.
During this moment of lucidity his eyes finally opened
All becomes clear, he is a Tuareg in the middle of the desert
He screams of nostalgia thinking of this imagined land,
His mouth is so dry, for miles only sand.

After all, why survive, by now he knows that he will die
Then, he closed his eyes, returning to his world in the sky.

Sol Selectas is a light that cuts though the darkness of winter with its new compilation Global Entry, which collects tracks from all around the globe to embrace different cultures and celebrate what makes us all individual.

Run by Sabo, many know the Sol Selectas sound for being a unique blend of sensual melody, tribal percussion and spiritual atmosphere that combine to paint audio pictures of distant lands and mystical places. This project twill take us on an even deeper psychedelic journey.

Often influenced by the local folk law of the artist who feature on each Sol Selectas release, this compilation features eleven tracks from Germany, Argentina, Italy, UK, Spain, Russia, Morocco, France, and Israel.

Each of the tracks has its own personality and it includes tribal house alongside low slung afro cuts, trippy disco flavour, and deep house that’s full of enchanting melody.
