Scotland-based DJ & producer Mha Iri is undoubtedly a rising force within the techno circuit, having been heralded as the top-selling female artist in Hard Techno on Beatport in 2023, consistently dominating the Top 10 charts with her releases on labels like Drumcode and Filth On Acid, and appearances scheduled at Awakenings, Junction 2, and many more. Now arriving on Patrick Topping’s Trick imprint for the first time, Mha Iri delivers ‘Take My Love’, an anthemic track packed with hands-in-the-air energy where mammoth kicks, wonky FX, and hypnotic vocals collide in epic fashion, as well as an amped-up ‘Hard Mix’ on the digital flip.

“I wrote the vocal to ‘Take My Love’ over six years ago. I had a vocal idea that I recorded and added this weird organ preset from Diva VST, which gave the track a really funky feel. I then left the track dormant, as although it was a solid idea, it wasn't where I wanted it to be at the time. Then, last year, I decided to rework 'Take My Love' and see what would happen using my studio experiences since I started, and it really blossomed. It's a fun, funky track and is very different from my usual sound, but it still has my signature feel to it. I also did a harder techno version, which I've been playing at my gigs, so it's been a really nice way of merging the two styles.” – Mha Iri

A single figure stands petrified in the portal before you, its stony form dwarfing the nearby landscape of similar mineral makeup that seems to have birthed it into this world. Indeed, all that you see amidst this plane is barren stone and ashen sky, as though all other life had been consumed by the gigantic humanoid sculpture that dominates this vision. It would be easy to describe the land before you as lifeless, and yet from the cracked hide of the behemoth glows a faint reddish hue reminiscent of a rising dawn. There is an energy that suffuses the giant, a spark of divinity granted by an unknown hand. Wordlessly through the portal, it calls out to you, and thus by divinity you find yourself drawn between the planes once again. HIBOO makes his VISION SERPENT debut with THE GOLEM IS COMING, a single that draws on its namesake's stature with a series of unrelenting basslines that meld with and are infused by an animating overdriven arpeggio. As the vocal sample within instructs an introspective course, THE GOLEM IS COMING combines these elements to entrance listeners in awe of its gargantuan presence.

Ruben Karapetyan's RKP continues a strong spring season by welcoming Randle to the label for his debut single. Hailing from Malta, Randle first emerged in 2022 on the strength of early productions for Another Life Music and Big Bells Records. His timeless progressive sound quickly caught the attention of the genre's diehard fanbase, leading to future projects for Droid9, Juicebox Music, and more. Also highly regarded as a DJ, the Birgu resident has been a fixture of Malta's nightlife for several years, sharing the stage with top international artists such as Glowal and Guy Mantzur, along with local hero DJ Ruby. With 2024 getting underway with a remix of Noise Generation's 'Magical Road', Randle now presents his first original project of the year, making his RKP debut with 'From Birgu To The Stars', alongside remixes from K Loveski, Rauschhaus and Jero Nougues. 

Also making his label debut with the second interpretation of 'From Birgu To The Stars' is Rauschhaus. The German producer has been a highly regarded figure of the melodic house underground since first emerging in 2017 with a contribution to Steyoyoke's 'Ethereal Techno' series. The next half decade saw Rauschhaus craft a consistent stream of superlative releases via Beatfreak, Einmusika, Parquet, Stil Vor Talent and his own Forevermore imprint. With strong remixes for Clubsonica and Movement Recordings already notched for 2024, Rauschhaus continues a prolific start to the year with an emotive take on 'From Birgu To The Stars'. Groovy and rhythmic throughout, it's a heady amalgamation of sound which makes for a club-effective yet uniquely poignant journey, smoothly flowing through striking chord stabs and haunting vocals, before a clever coax of dreamy melodies elevates mood onwards to a conclusion that is equal parts epic and goosebump inducing.

PREMIERE: Randle - From Birgu To The Stars (Rauschhaus Remix) [RKP]

We are excited to announce the release of @bepo_daune "Biorhythm EP," arriving just in time for the festival season. It features a powerful blend of slow, pressing downtempo rhythms with a deep dive into electronic and industrial soundscapes. The fourth track, "Bouncehouse," also features characteristic vocals from the Hamburg-based duo @mwaah

Additionally, the EP includes a lively, summery remix by our friends @pullichomba, adding an extra layer of sunny energy to the release.

As always, the excellent mastering comes from Haunted Water and the artwork was provided by Kilian Van De Water.

As we enter the tenth release on Indira's Paganotto's burgeoning ARTCORE imprint, the label signals intent with an admirable offering from longstanding Techno authority Joseph Capriati joining Indira on a two-track collaboration.

Joseph & Indira's 'Mantra' is another testament to ARTCORE's ever-increasing weight in Techno and global electronic dance music and features a duo of racy cuts laden with signature sonics from both artists, kicking off with 'Ananda' and its potent classic Techno feel, with a prominent Capriati core of thumping kicks, crisp percussive drive and progressive energy shifts and playful twists, laced with Indira's hypnotic exotic vocal chops and gritty LFO shots. 

'Mantra' rounds off the release with an inverted sound transition, leaning heavier into the 'Psy' sound that has seen Indira's notoriety skyrocket. Flooded with undulating low-end movement, creative off-beat flare, shifting rhythmic patterns and uplifting musicality, its immersive blend of darker sounds and spiritually utopian nuances makes for an undeniably unique statement  track. 

Whilst famed for his endless spree of unforgettable mainstage performances and international club shows, including standout residencies in Ibiza, Joseph Capriati's studio productions have been carefully selected and rare in recent years. With the emergence of their latest studio productions, Joseph and Indira's 'Mantra' release serves as a stamp of approval from one of Techno's most respected tastemakers and an insight into the potential of ARTCORE's indelible impact on global dance music.
