We are very proud to get our tenth podcast from a very special guest from Norway. Faia is an Oslo-based DJ, producer and club promoter who has played in all major parties in Norway and is also regularly booked to techno and house clubs all around Europe. 

In 2018 Faia got into production, and started a collaboration with Duppeditt. They own the label Romklang Records together and are now releasing their music, as well as being signed with Pointzer0 Rec and Music4Aliens. She’s a label DJ for Small Records and in charge of their mix series SmallCast.

Faia loves being behind the decks, and that also reflects the drive, energy and playfulness in her choice of music which is mostly deep, dark, groovy, techy and hard minimal, techno and house. This masterfully compiled mix of dark and dirty grooves is a great showcase of her talent and modern minimal and psychedelic tech sound.

AlpaKa MuziK is incredibly happy to present our yearly recap compilation, we chose to re-release some of our favorite tracks and releases from the last 12 months.

2023 was our biggest year yet with over 37 official releases and a dozen free downloads, putting us at approximately 50 releases total for the year and over 200 tracks.

Label boss KOZY, has compiled a selection of some of our top tunes, and AlpaKa team favorites from 2023.

Although we wanted to include many more, we cannot put more than 30 tracks on a single VA, which is already more than we usually select for a VA. We had a very tough time selecting as we could  have selected way more incredible productions.

This compilation included 30 of our favorite tunes, produced by 50+ artists from 2023 at an insanely discounted price of 19.99 for the entire 30 track pack!

Dollhouse is a dark progressive psy-techno EP inspired by the Victorian Era of the 1870's, each track describes a different theme and tells a different tale. Dark insidious voices and vocals describe the corruption throughout the world, and tell of torment and suffering unfortunately ultimately being one of the ways humans find true enlightenment. Heavy synths accompanied by monstrous leads and ocean like ambience create a sense of flow throughout the EP, whilst punishing and unforgiving heavy bass is always present throughout all the tracks. Movie like horror influenced hypnotic soundscapes and horns wreck havoc throughout the majority of the EP.
