Always true to his psychedelic roots, Papi Gonzo is back with his brand new concoction, a lengthy DJ set of delicious night-time tunes carefully picked up for their deepness & grooviness, but this time, at a much higher BPM. Real fanatic of faster beats himself, he feels that related mixes are often lacking emotions, atmospheres & energy contrasts, falling in the pitfall of redundancy. The following mix features some of his his favorites frequency scientists & record labels, delicious tracks from 180 to 150bpm, meticulously selected over the course of the last decade.

@kinimal is a rhythmically driven music lover from South East Queensland, Australia named Luke (Currently residing in Fremantle, WA) who has always been inspired & Guided by sound and the sensory; and mind effects that shape and manipulate perceptions and mood.

Kinimal has something special to offer and in his sets you can expect lovingly crafted journeys designed to invoke the meditative state felt during audio/sensory experiences, taking you on a psychedelic and sometimes experimental techno adventure playing a unique blend of Techno rhythms laced with Psychedelic elements aiming to create the euphoria felt during Psychedelic Trance whilst playing in a Techno landscape. 

Kinimal has been entertaining dusty dance floors at open air festivals and parties for more than 4 years, beginning in S/E Queensland and currently frequenting parties in the unique Perth Bush. He has had the pleasure of sharing the same bill with many International acts, talented local & Interstate artists. With a lifelong passion for music of all shapes and forms, and a firm lover of the craft of DJing he brings a confident enthusiasm which is only growing stronger.

For our 2nd installment of the Techgnosis Sessions, we welcome the very talented up-and-coming Geometic. Known for his swampy, psychedelic bass and deep progressive tech sets, Geometic recently made an appearance at the successful Tech:Gnosis event in Halifax, where he played alongside usual suspects Ben Rama and Charife (his opening set was superb, and landed him a gig as a label DJ!). Bio:

Medular is a minimal psychedelic glitch project from Mexico City which has emerged from the union of Brun González (a.k.a. Brun Balanced) and Pablo Peniche (a.k.a. Xom Pax).

It drives from experimenting with live synths and hypnotic jam sessions that coalesce into beautifully evolving tracks and elegant acid beats.

This aesthetic comes from trying to bring the psychedelic glitch Spirit into minimal techno in a more free and experimental way that is alive and breaths from the interaction of the digital and analogue entities.

While looking to bring back the analogue modular-esque sound generating sequencer based tunes, Medular makes use of the many ways of sculpting noise and Worshiping the Glitch.

Techgnosis Sessions 004 - Synapse [ITL]

One of the minds behind the recently released 'Swamp Seance' VA - Papi Gonzo has established himself as a force in the psychedelic underground through his work as DJ, graphic artist and promoter. This past summer saw him throw down an incredible Friday night set at Eclipse Festival (Quebec) on the Lunar stage, and this recording is representative of that experience. And that's exactly what we've been searching for and found especially for you.
Papi Gonzo, a pretty talented Canadian DJ, takes you on a more than two hour trip, full of psychedelic, technoid music mixed with incredible creativity. The mix takes you for the runtime into the festival summer and out of the pre-Christmas reality.
Have a lot of fun listening, it's absolutely worth it.


Damit ihr alle trotz Weihnachten mit guter Stimmung in die neue Woche startet, braucht es schon verdammt gute Musik.

Techgnosis Sessions 014 - Kinimal [AU]

At the forefront of the progressive techno movement, Ben Rama has been winning over dance floors as a producer/live act since 2010. He has also established himself as a true taste-maker in the progressive techno scene since co-founding @Techgnosis-Records in 2015.  Impeccable taste in music and ear fro sound, along with his ability to spot talent has propelled Techgnosis Records into a leading contributor of the underground music scene.  With another successful year under his belt, this recording of his headlining set from Eclipse 2018 is one that will stand the test of time.
