One of Atlantic Canada’s most respected and followed techno DJ/Producers, his influence on underground music scene has touched and inspired so many producers and DJs over the course of  the past quarter century.  He began his journey in 1991 where a tragic car accident almost took his life.  While in hospital, he has a dream playing music on stage, interacting with people and getting them to dance…  Originally from London, England and inspired by cinematic masterpieces and producers such as Art of Noise, New Order, Depeche Mode, Future Sounds of London, Yello and the great Giorgio Moroder, he began to realize his calling.  He bought turntables and connected with record pools in Toronto and Halifax and the Secret Music Club in the UK.  In 1998 he entered and won DJ competitions in Halifax, NS and Charlottetown, PEI.  Over the years his name grew in popularity gaining shows across Canada with interests in the US, Europe and Brazil.   In 2016, BERLIN TECHNO SESSIONS, VOL. 6 signed his remix of Trilingo - Luzoba Charife Remix, gaining international attention with the techno community.  In 2018 he continued releasing melodic, progressive techno tracks working with the talented Ben Rama and Techgnosis Records.  His Notations Series mixes have gained much attention with continual support and momentum building for 2019. 

His passion for music is strong as he states, “Music is more than just listening pleasure; it’s an experience, a journey one must venture from all walks of life, pulling deep from within the truth of life, past, present, and future! Music can make one understand who they are and what they wish to achieve.” Through this format, Charife delivers a story to lets people experience openness and freedom to let loose to explore his vision through sound… His mixes are experiences!  Those who have heard him, return for more, those who experience him for the first time get pulled into a hypnotic state that keeps them wanting more…  a musical story if you will, drawing emotion deep into the music.
