This summer I played at the New New Nordic Burn in the magical forest of Finnskogen. It was such an epic experience to see the beautiful crowd express themselves in the hours where night became day. A memory I will keep in my heart forever. I hope you will enjoy this edited and shortened version of my set.

BURN

Double Cheese is the project of Saw Deep and Shred’er whose initial concept is to break free from the common codes of electronic music and to merge several inspirations in order to bring a renewal to the different musical scenes in which this project is part. By bringing syntheses and complex structures on a minimal techno basis, they mix their knowledge to create a hybrid style of their own. This set contains tracks from their upcoming EP.

Siblicity is a live techno performance project from two brothers, Gabor (Disandat) & Peter Halasz (Almond Lama), bringing you organic sounds with analog techniques. This compilation is by Peter Siblicity. The first thing he did in 2022 was a private DJ set at Sepia Sound Studio (their new home) for some close and beloved dancer friends, and this is the part of the set past midnight from New Year's Eve. We continue the Navigare Audio podcast with another wonderful contribution for the 18th chapter. London based Ben Cyan has been a delighted us with his own "Kaibosh" series for a while now and it was inevitable to invite him to make a set for us as well.

"I set out to take the listener on a trip through a range of contrasting deep hypnotic techno styles and emotions. Building in momentum over two hours, the set spans moments of darkness and light, desolation and elevation - underpinned by subtle transitions and a focus on heads-down 4/4 techno grooves, both new and old cuts. Welcome to the sonic world of Xænomørph - the brainchild of Thierry Lily, a rhythm maestro hailing from the scenic west coast of Mauritius Island. Born in the buzz of the 90's, Thierry was spellbound by music from the time he could barely string sentences together. Whether it was humming tunes or making melody out of life's simplest noises, his love for song was unmistakable.

In his youth, Thierry not only dipped his toes but dived headfirst into the exhilarating pool of fusion music as part of a local band. This was just the beginning of his musical romance.

Enter the wild teenage years, and Thierry was bitten by the irresistible bug of electronic music. He found himself particularly entranced by the mesmerizing beats of Deep House. But the real game-changer was his rendezvous with Psytrance in the closing months of 2017. It was a love-at-first-sound moment, a melodious thunderbolt that resonated with his soul. 

Life, or perhaps the universe, nudged him further into the entrancing world of DJing. A newfound calling, a stage where he could unleash his unique flair and the resonating beats that his heart danced to. Thierry, or as we now know him, Xænomørph, found his true home in the thrilling blends of Psytech, Zenonesque, Dark Progressive, and Forest Progressive. His electrifying sets are a testament to this passionate love affair.

Who lit the sparks, you ask? A plethora of maestros: Pspiralife, Ryanosaurus, Vorg, Alchemy Circle, Quantaloop, Electrypnose, Triphonic, Kliment, Grouch, Paracozm, Ivort, Hypogeo, Neurolabz, Nangijala, Zentrix, MYDA, Myrtox, Filt, Stancke, Melt, Ritalin Child - they all had a hand in shaping Xænomørph's sonic journey.

So here's to Xænomørph, an artist who didn't just chase his dreams but composed a symphony out of them!

AlpaKa MuziK is happy to announce another label DJ residency. This time we welcome Mauritian native, currently based in Quebec, Canada.

Xaenomorph has been making waves in the Quebec underground psytrance and techno community only a few months after moving from Mauritius. His mixing skills and track selection doesn't go unnoticed as he locks down many solid gigs in his short time in Canada by pushing the forward thinking psytech/darkprog sounds. We are very happy to welcome a new member to the team. Give this mix a listen to dive into the world of Xaenomorph and the AlpaKa catalogue as he recorded this 100% AlpaKa MuziK set.

On the Way to O.Z.O.R.A. 2016 we caught up with Jake Ainley and Ric Featherstone for a track-studded view of what’s going on in TONGUE and GROOVE land.

Tongue & Groove are on a roll, with three consecutive top ten hits and being booked worldwide to perform at major international festivals they are rocking dance floors on a global level. Jake Ainley and Ric Featherstone are both deeply passionate electronic music lovers, involved in the scene for many years. They met at many Flying Rhino and T.I.P parties in the 1990’s when the scene was exploding and they forged a deep over a mutual deep love of the psychedelic scene and a passion for music production and DJ’ing. After putting on parties and Djng together for over a decade they decided to get in the studio and create the twisted sonic delights that had been turning them on and to make some proper party music.
In 2006 Tongue & Groove was born with a mission to create music that has the best combination of Progressive, Techno and Psychedelic Trance. With their musical roots immersed in the sounds of the beginnings of Goa Trance, they wanted to produce a new sound that both captures the best of that epic era with a new and exciting twist that could be best described as psychedelic techno. A sound that they have pioneered and is now spreading like wildfire around the world.
Now signed to Nano Records they have released E.P’s and tracks with Nano records and on other labels such as Echoes Records ,Iboga Records ,Flow Records, Liquid Records, Broken Records and Shifty Disco. With support coming from the likes of Paul Oakenfold, John 00 Flemming, Nick Warren, James Monro, Perfect Stranger, Tristan, Lucas, Dick Trevor and Ace Ventura and many many more.
Tongue and Groove have and are performing live at many festivals/parties around the world (Ozora/Earthcore/Symbiosis) and festivals in UK (Glastonbury, Glade, Noisily, Secret Garden Party, Boomtown) and played alongside such legends and greats as Tristan, Avalon, James Monro, Dick Trevor, Billy Nasty, Neelix, Tim Healey, Hedflux, Lucas and Shane Gobi.

this is the first half of my set from aguila festival at the eagles nest in guatemala. there was a beautiful performance that toOk place hence the separation of the journey. it is my heart felt intention that you are deeply hypnotised and enchanted by the spirit of the music & that it brings you closer in connection with your Self & Source. 

i would love to take a moment of gratitude to greg (the founder of eagles nest) for the trust in allowing me to guide the first hypnotic techno journey in the space, & to my beloved ulysee for bringing his divine magick of channeled throat singing which was not captured in this recording in recordbox however, one can expect to experience our magic together in the near future.
