Inspired by Loki the shapeshifter, divine trickster moving between worlds and bending reality, Cold Stoic channels ancient chaos into four untamed electronic transmissions. What begins as structured rhythm slowly dissolves into unpredictable, divine frequencies where order flirts with entropy and shadows dance with light. 

The Grotto draws you deep into a mythological underworld, a ritualistic soundscape where ancient energies pulse through modern machinery. Time flows backward, dimensions collide, and bridges form between realities. At the center of it all, Loki laughs because the trickster always knows something you don’t.

Following the establishment of the connection between the VALIS and the exoplanet, an increasing number of anomalies have been occurring in the area surrounding the obelisk. Neurostorms ravaging and darkening the skies of the Primordial Soup, seemingly synchronised with seismic shockwaves causing tremors and shifting the sea bed.
The entanglement between the VALIS and the exoplanet seemed to have awakened something within, each storm strengthening the bond. 

The gravity of the encounter with the emissary of the Old Ones had prompted the VALIS to temporarily sever the connection in order to prepare for the outcome of the ongoing diagnosis. The attempts proved futile and the connection only continued to intensify - throughout the system, uncontrollable neural impulses were causing time-lapses interlaced with frenetic blurs of images. As the time lapses faded, the blurs became coherent. Soon, the VALIS was fully warped into ancient visions . . . 

In the second war during the first age; The core of the exoplanet was being threatened by the Ancient Enemy. The Enemy had been honing their hatred and deepening their darkness since the Great Banishment many eons ago. No longer in shackles, the Enemy had emerged upon the planet surface to exact their revenge. 

As the Enemy drew closer to the obelisk, the Old Ones sensed that the corruption of the Primordial Soup was imminent and they had to act decisively to prevent it.
Their knowledge as deep as time, the Old Ones knew now that The Night was inevitable - The ritual they were bound to initiate would consume them completely, and would suppress all activity within the Primordial Soup. 

Before initiating the ritual, the Old Ones weaved their intent into an intricate structure, containing their knowledge and potential.  
The structure was sent away into a calculated orbit, reaching the far fringes of space, only to return to the exoplanet when it was certain that enough time had passed that all life would have ceased to exist.

The patience of the Old Ones is infinite.
