We welcome Andre a.k.a. Vandelor for the sixteenth edition of our 'Deep In Mix' series. He is an emerging producer from Lima, Perú, and has been making waves in the scene with releases on imprints like RYNTH, Canopy Sounds, Circle of Life, 3rd Avenue, ThePurr, WAYU Records, etc., to name a few. Initially, he started experimenting with Progressive House and later on found his true territory in styles like Organic House, Afro House and Melodic House.

"I got into production a few years ago when my head was overloaded with melodies that wanted to be brought out and written in reality. I love Organic House for its texture, atmospheric, dreamy and chill vibes. I've crafted this mix to exhibit the same. My all-time favorite artists who always inspire me are Gorje Hewek, Izhevski, Lost Desert, Volen Sentir, Amonita, Makebo, Hernán Cattáneo to name a few", he shares.

With this mix, Andre showcases his flair for deep melodic grooves and his capability as a selector of fine tunes. 'This mix has a lot of unreleased stuff. Listeners can get ready with the 'ID please' comment in this magical journey', he adds.

BSV: Hello Mass! Are you working as a digitalisation ambassador in government of Serbia? Your tracks are all around the web and always in high quality.
MASS DIGITAL: Hehehe, thanks for this kind words. Yeah, seems like people love my vibe and share around.

BSV: You published for All Day I Dream and other famous record labels and people in Serbia don’t know you very well. Are you focused more on the international market?
MASS DIGITAL: Over the last 10 years my music was released on some of the best electronic music labels like ADID, TRYBESof, Kindisch, Hoomidaas, Toolroom, Cr2, Sol Selectas, Akbal, Iboga...
Yes, I’m more focused on the international market at the moment.

BSV: Two remixes and one unpublished original shared with this mixtape. Music production is your primary goal or you want to travel the world as a DJ too?
MASS DIGITAL: From Monday to Friday I’m in my home studio working on original music and remixes. Yes, music production is my primary goal at the moment, but next year will be focused more on touring worldwide.

BSV: We found that your EQ-ing is just perfect. How long does it take to get these skills?
MASS DIGITAL: Heh, we, music producers, are in constant battle with the mixdown and sound, so every track is a story for itself. Advice for all producers is to learn and listen as much as they can.

BSV: There is a signature voice intro with all your mixes. Did you make this recordings while drinking coffee on Mondays?
MASS DIGITAL: Hah, yeah, when I’ve started accepting mix / podcast requests, wanted to make it special and to be closer to the listener. And yeah, people love my voice intros and I really enjoy making those.
You will hear a lot of these intros and personal messages as at the moment I have mix requests till October 2022.

BSV: Have you ever been on ADID showcase? Maybe @ Exit Festival in 2019?
MASS DIGITAL: No, but there will be an ADID Festival in May next year, so 🙂  ... 

BSV: Living in clouds vs realism? What’s your choice?
MASS DIGITAL: I’m a dreamer, aquarius. That says all.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, an eclectic and diverse city responsible for all the different sounds that are characteristic of his electronic music work as an established International Producer and DJ. Although already considered a master of his crafted Organic House music he continues on an ever evolving journey of creating his own and unique sound. 

At first listen you can hear his particular and specific contribution to the already solid foundations of groovy percussion and strong baselines. What sets him apart from many is his ability to create aural stories in different atmospheres with celestial and melodic undertones, and his signature striking melodies easily captures any dance floor.

I pay tribute to the formidable soundscapes of Dmitry Pushkarev, better known as IZHEVSKI, hailing from the picturesque city of Izhevsk, Russia - a fitting inspiration for his artist name. 

My introduction to his work was through the GHIZ project. Now he has forged his own path with the launch of his label RUVENZORI in 2020.

His sound is a unique blend of sharp edges and prominent basslines, interwoven with rich ambient melodies and subtle vocal elements, all at a steady tempo of 120bpm. His ability to seamlessly blend his style with other artists through collaborations and remixes is a skill that I find truly impressive.

Dmitry's sound is not for everyone, but for those who appreciate a unique and edgy sound, IZHEVSKI is a must-listen.
