Sacré Cheu is a Bay Area based music producer and performance artist. The name, much like the music itself, is inspired by the french phrase uttered as a response to surprise (sacrebleu!).

For a number of years, Sacré Cheu has been crafting his own species of electronic music, drawing inspiration from Grimes to Guillermo del Toro to Alexander McQueen. Cheu is boundless when it comes to composition- allowing himself to be unrestricted by genre and influence, he creates soundscapes that inevitably transport listeners to familiar places they haven’t been to yet. He’s taken the project to some of the West Coast’s most prestigious stages, from San Francisco's Mezzanine to The Viper Room in Los Angeles. His music’s also been licensed by the likes of MTV, Saturday Night Live, among others.

Sacré Cheu has figured out the sound of serendipity- of finding yourself in just the right place, even if you don’t know where that is yet.

Introduced to each other through a mutual friend, DJ / producer DJ ZAQ and drummer / producer Lion Bellamy found that between the two there was much in common. They both wanted to entertain and aggressively make people boogie to electronic dance music. To satisfy the “Raging Bulls” within them that desired to promote dance floor debauchery and to push the genre of electronic dance music to the limit, they created Robot De Niro. Already musical veterans and trendsetters prior to joining forces, the two knew that as a duo their unique production/remix style and infectious live show would truly create a splash in the ever growing club/music scene. 

Pre-Robot De Niro, both DJ ZAQ and Lion Bellamy established themselves as accomplished musical artists:

DJ ZAQ has a following and foundation solidified in his unique ability to orchestrate upbeat and high-energy sets from a wide range of genres. His performances utilize solid technique, creative instinct and a largely customized song library to drive frenzy into any and all dance-floors before him. His superb talents have allowed him to share the stage with the notable acts LMFAO, Steve Aoki, Dillon Francis, Far East Movement, Hyper-Crush, Mickey Avalon, Dirt Nasty, Cali-Swag District, DJ Scene, DJ Cobra, Tony Arzadon and the legendary disco and dance music pioneer Nicky Siano of Studio 54 Fame. 

Influenced by technology and hair metal drummers from the 1980's, Lion Bellamy is known for his flashy and unique drumming style as he combines electronic drums and samplers with Tommy Lee swagger. 
Also, Lion is a seasoned music producer as his production work has been featured on the popular TV shows, MTV's The Jersey Shore, the CW's Remodeled as well as Forever 21 advertisements.
