Paul Kalkbrenner is one of my Idols and was the reason why I started listening to electronic music more than 10 years ago. So for me it was just a matter of time until I had to remix one of his tunes. No Goodbye is one of my favorites but is hard to play at a club with only 125 BPM and a kick that fits more into melodic area.

So I pitched it up to 132 BPM, rearranged the track, added some dark synths and groovy drums. 

I played it out in the last months all over Germany at some of the biggest clubs and I have the feeling the ravers really like it.

Relinquo‘s mission is to share his love for music with the world, which he delivers by crafting Cinematic Peak Time Techno. His sound signature can be described as a combination of cinematic composing and sound design aligned with hard hitting techno kicks and basslines. 

His love for music and especially cinematic scores started early on in his life. He learned different instruments and lived in several countries to broaden his musical and cultural horizon. This led to a diverse background in various genres like Techno, DnB, Punk and Post Hardcore and a continuous strong connection to the underground szene. For many years now he has been producing Techno in Vienna, a city well known for its strong influence in classical music as well as contemporary club and concert culture. While benefiting from the network of classical and modern artists, he also became an integral part of the Viennese techno szene as a resident in several well known clubs. 

Relinquo‘s background shaped his distinct style of Cinematic Techno which quickly gained traction and recognition internationally. His tracks are released on several top labels like Animarum, Renesanz, Loading Systems and Xperiment.
