"The All Attracting circumscribes the source of all being, the atma (soul), god in everyone and everything ... It's used in hinduism to describe Krishna, but it's really not about religion. It's about the diversity and complexity of the god entity - "the indivisible force"

Music to a point is directly associative and always carries stereotypic and archaic values. In opposition to real life physical sounds electronically created sounds and music throw you back to the beginning of sound - the sine wave. To go from there is a welcome challenge and a lot of fun which both expresses well in the album. "

This record features four versatile and recognizable industrial techno and industrial hardcore tracks with huge breaks and thundering drums. Floorfilling guaranteed! 

A1 - A Journey Through Time is a trip through the evolution of hard electronic dance music. A fierce hardcore bassdrum guides you through rave, mainstyle, industrial hardcore, video game and baroque music. The melody is just amazing! 

A2 - Erz + Ich is a straightforward industrial techno smasher with massive bassdrums to deliver the payload. While the track builds up, the vicious synth gets the job done. Be aware of the second break for complete madness! 

B1 - Ad vesperum MMIX 
`Ad versperum'' means ``twilight'' oder ``darkness'' in Latin. This track is the successor of Waldhaus' famous track ``The Darkness''. On an industrial hardcore backbone, this track features a complex arrangement and an eerie piano theme. German Präzisionsarbeit at its best! 

B2 - Requiem for a Lifestyle' is a strong industrial hardcore track with an epic choral break. Beside teasing the crowd, it shall pose questions about the future of our way of life.

'Shore to Shore’ is the debut album set to drop from Phase on Metalheadz, and after the artist’s history on the label, it was the next obvious step for both him as well as the imprint. Handpicked by Metalheadz label boss Goldie, the Belgium native residing in Switzerland is following in the footsteps of a Beatport No.1 on Metalheadz with his collaboration ‘Call In Me’ alongside Grey Code with a brand new album.

‘Shore to Shore’ brings back the all-encompassing listening experience of an album. With thirteen brand new records offered by the producer, each selection is as immersive as the next. Beginning with its title track, it delivers layer upon layer of cascading breaks and stunning vocal crescendos from LaMeduza and it’s the optimum way for Phase to pull you into his domain. ‘Stress Out’ and ‘Frameworks’ provide a darker climate, juxtaposed by the ethereal tones of ‘Flowstone’ and ‘Cloud Contours’. The more stripped back assembly of ‘Something’s Missing’ pushes against the drum rhythms of ‘Inner Schism’, whilst LaMeduza appears once again for ‘Thirds’ and ‘Good For Nothing’. ‘Quick Fix’ flips the switch with its subterranean levels meanwhile the grooves of ‘Tatter Tune’ add more to the track list’s diversity. Ending the album comes ‘Riven’ with its jazz-inspired breakdowns and ‘Only One’ with UK talent Tyler Daley – a name in his own right and highlighting the scope at Phase’s fingertips.

Even the album’s artwork, hand-painted by Italian designer Matteo Saccò is a visual representation of the album's journey. Mirroring its audio experiences of different emotions and turbulences throughout, it repackages these themes in a visual format. Highlighting once again that ‘Shore to Shore’ truly is an all-encompassing project.

For the burgeoning producer, ‘Shore to Shore’ is one of his biggest projects. It lays bare the musicality he has available to him through years of dedication to the craft and with a combined journey, Metalheadz was the perfect place for its release. It proves that alongside several singles laying in its wake, April is looking to be another important month for both the producer and the LP’s home at Metalheadz.

Stalwarts of the drum & bass scene for nearly three decades, London duo Loxy & Ink open up their 2022 account with a new single ‘Spray Trains Of Thought’.

The UK breakbeat pioneers have racked up an arsenal of releases for breakthrough labels such as Metalheadz, Hospital Records and Renegade Hardware, as well as their own Cylon Recordings and Architecture Recordings imprints. Their sounds have been brought to countless dancefloors around the globe, and the pair have held down residencies at pivotal nights such as Metalheadz Blue Note sessions, Fabio & Bukem’s Speed and Renegade Hardware’s parties at The End.

Having already flexed their hip-hop credentials on last year’s ‘Manifested Visions’ on R&S, the duo return with another blazing lyrical delivery and raw production. Drawing upon their influences from artists like KRS One, Rakim, Wu-Tang Clan, NAS and Mobb Deep, ‘Spray Trains Of Thought’ hits hard, as astute rhymes come thick and fast over tenacious beats and brooding horn blasts, proving that Loxy & Ink have the versatility to work across genres with ease and always deliver some serious musical heat!

Accompanying track ‘Channel’ find Ink and Loxy back in familiar break beat territory, as they team up with regular collaborator, the Finish producer Resound, for a textbook heavy stepper. Innovative breaks and throbbing bass frequencies hurtle forward at breakneck speed, with its vocal elements providing the warmth and soul in this smouldering production.
