Crafted over the course of two years, this album explores various styles and structures, focusing on off-kilter rhythms, haunting modalities, a strong use of organic, found-sound and ethereal vocal explorations to create an otherworldly vibe.

Conceptually, the album is about self/collective discovery, light found within darkness, numinous experience, secrets, and the process of inward/outward illumination.

This mix was inspired by the early days of urban electronic music, specifically Breakbeat!  The underground flame of inspiration from B-Boys and B-Girls during this Era was shaped by the DJ's and MC's of the time.  It is a cultural phenomenon that has been idolized in feature films such as Breakin' from 1984.  Join me on this journey as we revisit those old-school sounds and samples in a whole new way!
