Frankee Black Heart / Wonderland

‘Black Heart’ lives up to its name in every single sense. We’d say ‘it does what it says on the tin’ but there is no tin, just an incredible sense of foreboding ghostly doom. Darkness soars through each eastern wail while the rich bassline drives deep into the groove, doubling up towards the builds for extra drama. Peppered with nuances of neuro funk, once again Frankee has shown an understanding of drum & bass dynamics that belies his young years. 

For the ultimate switch-flipper, head to ‘Wonderland’. The complete contrast to ‘Black Heart’, here we find the London producer paying the ultimate homage to drum & bass jungle’s earliest rave carnations. With vibrant, euphoric piano licks, skippy breakbeats and subs so heavy they need their own passport, ‘Wonderland’ is a quintessential example of contemporary rave. As for the emphatic vocal? We can all agree with its sentiments. Music is indeed wonderful – especially when it’s being written by the likes of Frankee.

We 're very proud to announce our next release with two fantastic guest artists on vocals featured by the drum and bass brothers from Brazil, Drumagick.

The brazilian star Fernanda Porto singing on this nu samba tune called "Olinda Vibes" that comes with an additional instrumental drum and bass mix and the super MC from the Zulu Nation crew, the one and only TC Izlam is smashing his rhymes on "Ride", this authentic brazilian drum and bass with an outstanding samba loop and a heavy bassline as the Drumagick brothers like to do. And last but not least the brothers presents the track "Damas" in two mixes, one up tempo nu samba and another one as drum and bass remix with a nice breakdown in the middle and a bass line inspired by the 90's urban drum and bass tunes.

Stay locked, it will be on the stores on 14th of May of 2012, right during the Drumagick's European tour in May.

E direto da Zulu Nation crew temos a colaboração de ninguém menos que o MC TC Izlam, filho de Afrika Bambaataa, este MC esbanja talento e flow em suas rimas para a música "Ride", um autêntico drum and bass brasileiro com um swingado loop de samba acompanhado de um bass poderoso ao estilo dos irmãos Junior e Guilherme.

E pra fechar a seleção de ouro os bothers apresentam o track "Damas" em duas versões, a primeira um nu samba up tempo beat e a segunda um drum and bass com uma interessante parada no meio que vale a pena conferir e um bassline ao estilo dos urban jungle/drum and bass feitos nos anos 90.

Technicolour - 	'Music' is one of THE cornerstones of jungle to me, one of a handful of tracks that really laid a foundation for everything that has come to pass since. So I hope my deep reverence for the original comes through in the remix. 
Furney - Nice little re-hash of Bukems classic, the new elements swirl it up nicely and the rolling break rattles in your face faster than an Olympic gold medallist. The unforgettable bass hook, faithfully reproduced, make this a chin stoker and a leg shaker.  Don't miss this one.
