Viper Recordings are proud to be back at the world’s largest Drum & Bass celebration, hosting a stage again at this year’s Let It Roll 2018 Festival in Czech Republic. To celebrate, we have pulled together an immense new EP with seven brand new, exclusive tracks from some of the best new names in the game.

Dutchmen NCT & Franky Nuts team up together with legendary MC, Coppa for the opening track ‘Bad’, a sultry, murky tune featuring the cutting vocals of Coppa that will certainly surprise fans of either artist – this one is heavy! Australian duo Ekko & Sidetrack, one of the hottest acts in drum & bass at the moment, deliver ‘Combat’, an ominous, foreboding tune with an unforgettable drop that is sure to be a festival favourite this year.

Manchester-based, North Base teams up with fellow Mancunian Longman for ‘Ten Men’, an eerie, visceral, neuro-esque roller that is sure to send shivers down spines worldwide. Austrian duo, Dossa & Locuzzed give us a taste of their signature funk sound with a dark, sinister twist that is set to be an instant favourite amongst the heads.

New unreleased artist, Giganti, comes with his debut track with a surprise upper cut with ‘Roll It’, a powerful ballad that proves he is a name to watch. Veteran Kiwi-producers, Trei returns with ‘Paradigm’ is an energetic tune with whimsical vocal chops, vibrant synths, and thumping drums that is nothing short of flawless.

The last track on the EP, ‘Dick Chasen’, from Spanish trio Maniatics, is perhaps the heaviest of them all, serving filthy, minimal neurofunk from start to finish.

All in all, the compilation once again represents Viper’s diverse strengths as a label, and is a fitting celebration for one of the scene’s most important events of the year. Each new release from Technique's L Plus emphatically confirms his status as a DnB heavyweight. Only recently, we've heard his tune 'The Orion' scorching sets and streams from some of the biggest deejays in the scene. Real heads know to watch for everything that comes from this guy's studio, so, if you've been sleeping, now's the time to remedy the situation and jump on the L Plus hype train.

'Sound Question' gets things running from beat number one. A blend-friendly sixteen bars of drums and pulsing bass get things started, setting the scene with some rising vibesy chords. And then we're delivered into the tune properly with an absolutely anthemic breakdown. With powerful, almost stadium rock vibes that will simultaneously spawn screw-faces, gun fingers and hands-in-the-air, L Plus has gone big.

All that, and there's still a drop coming.

A catchy, funk-invades-the-main-stage bassline drives the energy onwards backed with bulletproof pumping drums. And there's even more to discover. Little film soundtrack melodies and deftly-dropped samples shimmer into view before giving way to the next part of the journey. Once again, L Plus shows us how he can grab our attention and hold it, and whether you're playing this clean or in the mix, the vibe-controlling possibilities are clear.

So, we've got another absolute heater from L Plus. Technicality and musicality combine into a style that delivers every single time. Get to know!

With his last release, 'Be Careful', still accumulating new fans, Tantrum Desire's back with a much-anticipated follow-up. Connoisseurs have been on the lookout for this one ever since TD dropped it in his huge audio-visual Hyper Vision stream for RAM Records earlier this year. And now the time has come. 'Bass in the Place' has been unlocked for the rest of us.

From the title, through the almost trance-like synth-pizzicato opening, to the eponymous vocal sample, 'Bass in the Place' captures a nostalgic feeling of that hypnotic, all-encompassing ascension into rave euphoria. That essentially emotive, organic heart and soul of the old skool is woven into up-to-the-minute contemporary DnB vibes by a production master.

And then it drops into an absolute stomper. A serrated mid-range blast of energy sets the pace, while basslines mutate and bubble, punctuated by high-powered breaks and fills. And the tune keeps evolving from there. Timbres are twisted as Tantrum Desire flexes his sound design and manipulation skills on us, keeping the intensity at maximum while hitting  us with a succession of bass variations. Selectors are going to want to let this one run.

So, it's Tantrum Desire with another anthem. True heads will need no more persuasion that that to get this tune straight into their set lists and playlists. Don't miss out.
