We have been repping at ADE for many years. On October 17th the label will be taking over Paradiso for a supreme showcase of forward-thinking beats and bass. Andy C, Calyx & Teebee, Wilkinson, June Miller, Loadstar and Delta Heavy will be demonstrating their skills and the label have put together a very special album to celebrate… 
‘RAMsterdam Drum & Bass 2013’ is a journey into the darker, moodier psyche of Ram. An exploration of the label’s extensiive repertoire, each track has been cherry-picked to complement the hectic, late night hedonism you’ll experience during ADE’s night schedule. 13 hallmark, agenda-setting tracks dating from as far back as 1996 plus two killer exclusives that you will not find anywhere else, ‘RAMsterdam Drum & Bass 2013’ is a crucial celebration of the industry’s most effective music conference.

The multi-genre songwriter, emcee, host, and singer Youngman has been taking us on a vocal drum 'n' bass odyssey over recent releases. Finding new boundaries to push, like with 2017's three-stage “Spinning” release or “Sorry”, his cover of a UKG classic, he's seemingly always able to come with another surprise. So, what's he got for us this time?

Right from the opening notes of “Special”, Youngman establishes that we're about to bear witness to a different side to his style. While his last few tunes have shown off a laid-back RnB influence, this time, there's a bluesy intensity right from the off. It's powerfully emotionally-charged, almost blending into gospel, and it's a path Youngman hasn't quite taken us down before.

As Youngman's timbre-switching falsetto drops us into stripped-back rolling beats and layers of harmony, we're in summer anthem territory. With enough bass punch to hold a rave crowd on the floor, but with all the sunlit vibes you could ask for, a lot of different audiences are going to feel this. The vocals, matched with those gorgeous keys and horns, make this a luscious, luxurious listen.

With Drumsound & Bassline Smith on production, in one of their most liquid soul excursions, this release is infused with class and sophistication. As suited for the radio as the rave, it's another glimpse into Youngman's vocal drum 'n' bass evolution.

After signing exclusively to Viper in 2016, nothing but success has followed Dossa & Locuzzed. The duo from Austria have seen support from some of the biggest names in drum & bass with singles like ‘Hollow’, ‘Stoned Love’, and ‘Electric Boogie’ being picked up by Sub Focus, Culture Shock, DJ Marky, and MistaJam among others. Following the release of their highly sought-after remix of Camo & Krooked’s ‘Honesty’, their VIP edit of the iconic ‘Shag’, and recent singles ‘Fuse/Shake’, the duo are once again setting their sights on success with their latest label release. 
Brand new from the duo is the appropriately named ‘C’Mon Feet’. A glittering introduction immediately draws the listener in, a velvet smooth enclosure that radiates charisma and charm. Easily some of their best work to date, ‘C’Mon Feet’ is a strong indication of the duo’s strengths and shows them broadening their horizons, trying something new and totally smashing it. On the flip side is a brand new VIP of what is perhaps one of their most iconic tunes, ‘Love Blind’ featuring fellow Viper family BMotion, known for its warm acoustic vibes and infectious vocals. Now, kicking things up yet another notch, Dossa & Locuzzed manage to pack even more funk and energy into the VIP – this one is set to be a favourite for DJs and fans alike the world over. Keeping the charm of the original vocals but adding a darkness to the drop, ‘Love Blind VIP’ is funk fresh with a warped twist. 
True pioneers of the genre who are constantly pushing the boundaries of bass music, it’s no surprise Dossa & Locuzzed have met with such success since their signing to Viper, and this latest release proves that the duo have a lot more in store – definitely keep an eye on these two.
