While Scalameriya's first album, Hubris (2016) on Genesa Records, was an exploration of what he considered "uncharted territory" at that time, Aeon Core (2022) on Perc Trax, on the other hand, was a process of cataloguing the various techno influences from his teenage years, seen through the lens of his modern, unmistakable style.
The next chapter of Scalameriya's turbulent saga in electronic music is Kornukopiya (2024), the manifesto of a mad scientist, a depiction Nikola resisted for years that ultimately became an embraced part of his persona as he finally takes on the lab coat of a genre-defying artist he was bound to become.
His documented, unwavering discipline has transformed into nothing less than rituals that are performed daily, securing him the grace of the muse as a result.
With Kornukopiya, Scalameriya ventures beyond the ordinary and dashes to the forefront of avant-garde club music, evading the shackles of conventional techno yet again while he effortlessly showcases his limitless hyperphantasia across 25 tracks, each as relentless and articulate as the other, making this album an auditory opulence for listeners eager to experience more than just a simple interaction between an effective kick and a random blip.
Always remaining conceptual, worshiping the idea and imagination as sacred phenomena, this time he consolidates the ever-recurring motifs of sci-fi, danger, and weight in his music with the mystical, bringing forth coherent displays of sound that, collectively as an album, emit an uncanny fusion of mechanical ferocity and ethereal enchantment.
At the moment, Kornukopiya can be considered Scalameriya's "magnum opus", but with his merciless pursuit of the apex of sound design, this statement will likely be rendered obsolete in the blink of an eye.

Randstad is the production and DJ moniker of dutch multimedia artist Thomas van Linge, co-founder of the record labels BAKK and Rubber and freshly relocated to Berlin. After first hearing his rhythmic drum workout on ‘Metalloid’, his contribution for this year’s ‘Still Life’ compilation, we’re glad to have tapped his second EP ‘These Serpents’ for Veyl. Randstad is pushing his idea across the spectrum of industrialized beat music for this outright roaring 6-tracker ideal to tear down clubs when they finally re-open in 2036.

Black Dahlia (@musicblackdahlia) is a Sydney based electronic music project fusing elements of new beat, EBM & industrial. Along with live and DJ performances in her native Sydney she has also released on labels such as Up North Records (Au), Deep Scan (Au), Insane Industry (Italy), Idlestates (Scotland), and soon to be Motorik Records (Au) as well as this first release on Berlin based X-IMG.

Her upcoming EP “Animasochist” on X-IMG is an explosion of sex, fetishism, and empowerment; samples from vintage sexploitation and pornographic films, interviews about fetishism, and 80s cinema milieu paired with the sounds of New Beat and EBM, which has become Black Dahlia's signature sound.
