Brazilian talent Classmatic is next up on Hot Creations with the two-track Toma Dale EP. Having already set dancefloors alight at the hands of label heads Jamie Jones and Lee Foss, the eagerly anticipated release drops this April. 

Classmatic explained how the release came together: “Everything started when I decided I needed a track to put in my sets with congas in. I live in Brazil and wanted something to represent the Latin sound as I didn’t have any tracks that incorporated this, so that's when Toma Dale ft Nfasis was born. Bape was literally inspired by some of the tracks Jamie Jones has been playing in his sets in recent years. I wanted to create a killer groove with acid influences and also produce a slightly different breakdown to what would be expected.” 

Toma Dale ft Nfasis achieves exactly what Classmatic set out to do. The track opens proceedings with enticing congas that instantly transport you to Latin America. Punchy drum pads pounce in and combine with the percussion to create a highly energetic base, as finely cut Spanish vocals are embedded to fuse everything together. Bape pays homage to the Hot Creations sound. Warm, soft, bouncy kick drums lead the track, joined by subtle acid sounds that tantalise the ears. The breakdown is perfectly placed with the addition of mesmerising vocals that fade in and out before the punchy, bass-heavy drums are hauled back in. 

Classmatic has built up a lot of traction over recent years, catching the eyes and ears of major heavyweights in the field, releasing under such labels as Solid Grooves and Hottrax and in 2021 he remixed Cloonees’ major hit, When The Sun Goes Down. Receiving support from artists such as Seth Troxler, Michael Bibi, Pete Tong and Loco Dice to name a few, it comes as no surprise when we say there is a bright future ahead for the talented artist.

UK tech house maestro @willtaylor-uk returns with another debaucherous underground banger made for sweaty late-night club sessions. No stranger to the limelight, Taylor has brought his uniquely powerful style of dance music to some of the biggest venues and festivals in the biz. Some highlights include his multi-summer residency at the revered Amnesia Ibiza, as well as successive appearances at We Are FSTVL and gigs at Studio 338, Tobacco Dock, Motion Bristol, and Soho Garden Dubai. One of the most prolific acts on the scene, Taylor has released music on such storied imprints as Elrow, Spinnin Deep, Repopulate Mars (Lee Foss' label), Hot Fuss, South Of Saturn, Glasgow Underground, Viva, Roush, Superfett, and NONSTOP. He has worked with Roland Clark, remixed Steve Lawler, and been remixed by John Summit. 'Saltshaker' is sure to get the crowd moving in any setting.

Sometimes we have signed artists whom become in top producers in the future. We have the feeling we are in front of one of these artists. Marco Strous is one of the names to follow this 2019. 'Tip Toe' was very successful but we are pretty confident his debut EP on elrow music will be huge!

'LMAO' starts with a solid beat, raw but powerful. Everything starts with a weird synth line, the lead hook of the track. Some tricks, a good vocal sample with great production details and awesome breakdowns for one of the most original tracks we've released ever. 'Flex' is something straight for the club, vocal chops, huge bassline, a proper bomb for the dancefloor. The 2019 favourite release in elrow music headquarters!
