Modular mayhem, minimal low strung grooves, tight percs, and mind altering vocals make the four pillars that hold up Wyatt Marshall’s house. We couldn’t be happier to see one of our main dudes make a return to the label with his What’s The Issue EP.

The title track kicks off the release with tasteful acid licks and indifferent, dissonant chord stabs, beckoning “What’s The Issue?” We don’t have any problems with this one.

Wyatt follows up with “Something For Me” — a full on nonchalant, and might we say selfish, minimal groove toting modular plucks, big djembe fills, and a whole bunch of attitude.

Closing out with “Flowers”, we see Wyatt channeling the stringent patchwork utilized on his rig to create something thats equally as euphonic as it is cacophonic. Wyatt’s able to make crunchy and unsettling sound pretty and meditative.

When Wyatt’s not busy cooking up beats in the studio, he’s tending his beets in the garden. We love to see someone as dedicated to their craft as Marshall is.

After their massive anthem "Baby", released on Toolroom, Larry Cadge and Andrea Giudice are back together with another slammer called "Fantasy". The track is carried on by lively drums, delicious tribal percussions and funky-electric leads. The stout bassline perfectly holds up the entire piece, with the catchy female vocal line spreading pure summer-breeze vibes and making of this one another dancefloor burner for the incoming parties. The dub mix gets rid of the vocal, leaving room for the groove which can now be appreciated in its full potential.

Do Not Sleep start 2021 with a bang dropping a stellar 3 track EP from one of The Netherlands finest music exports, Franky Rizardo.

Franky has further cementing his status as one of electronic music's most dynamic individuals by releasing on a diverse list of labels such as Rejected, Saved, Strictly Rhythm and 8Bit. As well as being a regular within the ANTS and elrow camps, he has performed at iconic venues such as Fabric (London), Shelter (Amsterdam), Amnesia (Ibiza) and Sound (Los Angeles), and now finds a new outlet for his more underground cutting edge sound music with the hugely popular Ibiza brand, Do Not Sleep.

The first track, No Critics, is a class chugger of a track, kicking off with a hypnotic dirty bass groove, building the energy before dropping a well worked hip hop vocal, to give the track is full identity.

Track 2, Resopong, will transport you straight to the terrace of DC10 with its stand out resonating pong sound flowing through the track combining perfectly with well worked vocal cuts. 

Finally Karmapod, finishes the EP in style, taking you deeper and deeper into late night territory. The exquisite production blends powerful subs, 90's synth notes, smooth evolving pads, and a perfect arrangement which when it drops the dancefloor is guaranteed to ignite.

Malikk steps up to Jamie Jones’ Hottrax this February with three bumping tracks on ‘Subway EP’.
Fresh off the back of his 2020 ‘Heu Como Bailar’ EP for Hot Creations, France’s Malikk steps up to sister label Hottrax with a three crafty house cuts.
Across the EP, Malikk showcases his ability to create energetic and devastatingly effective house music, his signature style of effected vocal chops and visceral percussion on display throughout. Exemplified on the metallic and propulsive title track, ‘Subway’ weaves its way through a series of restrained breakdowns and club optimised trickery.
‘Do Dat Dat’ follows suit, with Malikk making full use of classic drum kits, rolling snares, and warbled vocals for a versatile and highly playable piece of dancefloor artillery. ‘Paco’, with its staccato rhythms and visceral low end, wraps up the release for another fine entry in the discographies of both Malikk and Hottrax.
